- Reizigers moeten ten minste een gemiddelde conditie hebben
- Zorg dat je voor de starttijd aanwezig bent, want de Gids vertrekt stipt op tijd.
- Comfortabele schoenen worden sterk aanbevolen, want dit is een 1,5/2 uur durende tour.
- Het terrein van deze wandeltocht is niet rolstoel- of kinderwagenvriendelijk.
- Een gratis multimedia Gids is inbegrepen in het ticket.
- Rolstoeltoegang is onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid en moet vooraf worden gereserveerd.
- Bij binnenkomst wordt een veiligheidscontrole in luchthavenstijl uitgevoerd. Verboden voorwerpen, zoals alcohol, een kleine schaar, pennenmessen en verf/spuitbussen, moeten bij aankomst worden ingecheckt en aan het einde van uw bezoek worden teruggewonnen.
- Om veiligheidsredenen kunnen kinderwagens niet worden meegenomen in de State Rooms. Ze moeten worden ingecheckt en opgehaald na de tour.
- U mag geen foto's maken binnen de State Rooms, alleen in de paleistuin of buitenruimtes (ALLEEN VOOR PERSOONLIJK GEBRUIK).
- Eten en drinken is niet toegestaan in het Paleis, met uitzondering van flessen water. Eten en andere dranken moeten in uw tassen worden opgeslagen terwijl u binnen bent, maar u kunt eten en drinken in de buitenruimte (tuin en café).
- Fietsen, vouwfietsen, scooters, rolschaatsen of skateboards en tassen groter dan 45cm x 20cm x 30cm mogen niet in het paleis worden meegenomen, ze moeten elders worden opgeslagen, zoals Victoria Station.

I thought it had booked through the palace website, it was only when I went to have my ticket changed to an annual pass that I realised I hadn't. This resulted in me not being g able to take advantage of this offer.

For starters…..bad reviews are not my thing…… If you’re considering Golden Tours, let me save you $225 and a day of frustration: this company is pure Fool’s Gold — shiny on the surface, worthless underneath. We boarded one bus, enjoyed one loop, and thought we were off to a great start. Then Golden Tours pulled a disappearing act worthy of a West End magician. We waited over an hour for the next bus while four different calls to customer service assured us it was “close.” Spoiler: it was not close. It was not coming. It may not have existed. Meanwhile, every other tour company rolled by with actual buses, actual schedules, and actual service. It felt like watching competent adults do their jobs while we stood in the corner holding a very expensive mistake. Eventually, we gave up and took a €40 Uber back — the most reliable part of the entire experience. The refund process? A comedy of contradictions. “Yes, we’ll refund you.” “No, we can’t.” “Email this address.” “Call back tomorrow.” “We’ll look into it.” Golden Tours has more loops in their refund process than on their actual bus route. If you want a tour that actually exists, book literally any other company. They have more buses, more routes, and more interest in providing a service you paid for.

Our guide, Marc, did a great job of getting us to MULTIPLE key areas to watch the changing of the guard. And I do mean key areas. Such cool areas. We had to move quickly so this might not be the best option for someone that likes to move at a leisurely pace (or even just a normal pace won't work!)

We did the Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath and Roman Bath one day tour. Our tour guide Kelvin is an extremely good guide, very knowledgeable, lively and has good sense of humour. It was entertaining and educational at the same time. We leant a lot about the history of the places we visited. It is very true when he said it’s not about the places we see it’s about how we connect with the places we visit. Our drive Reggie did an excellent job of driving us safely from one attraction to the other without delay, very punctual. Kudos to Kelvin and Reggie for a job well done and for giving us a memorable day.

A fast paced day tour visiting Windsor castle, Stonehenge site and Bath. All sites were quite informative and interesting but one had to move at each location to keep with the schedule.
