Ontdek de schatberg Bromo tijdens een eendaagse privéavontour van Oost-Java. Bekijk het prachtige landschap van Bromo terwijl de zon opkomt op de berg Pananjakan , geniet van de grijs-grijze zee van zand , maak een wandeling naar de krater van de actieve vulkaan Bromo en verken de verborgen Madakaripura-watervallen op je weg terug naar Surabaya. Mount Bromo is een topattractie met zijn lokale paardenmannen , de Luhur Poten-tempel in de Zee van Zand, en de verbluffende uitzichten terwijl je in de oude caldera bent. Terwijl je naar de top van de berg Bromo loopt, leer je de machtige krachten van moeder aarde en de oude wortels van de Tengger-mensen te begrijpen.

Onze chauffeurs zijn verspreid over Oost- en Midden-Java en Bali. Ons fysieke kantoor bevindt zich in de stad Malang, 90 km ten zuiden van Surabaya.
Je wordt om 00:00 - middernacht opgehaald in Surabaya. Ofwel in uw hotel, het treinstation of op de luchthaven. In ongeveer 2 tot 3 uur rijd je per privéauto naar het dorp Cemara Lawang. Daar ga je van auto wisselen. Bij een privé 4WD Jeep gaat u verder naar het uitkijkpunt op de berg Penanjakan. Geniet van een koffiepauze met een warme kop koffie of thee en een lokaal hapje voordat de zon opkomt. De weersomstandigheden bepalen de kleuren in de lucht. Breng wat warme kleren mee, want het is koud in de vroege ochtend, tussen 0 en 10 graden Celsius.
Rond 06:00 blijf je Bromo beklimmen. Je steekt de onaardse maanachtige caldera over waarin de berg Bromo zich bevindt. Het noordelijke deel van deze caldera bestaat uit een vulkanische asgrauw grijs-grijze Zee van Zand. Vraag de chauffeur gerust om te stoppen als je graag een wandeling in dit landschap maakt.
De Jeep-parken in de buurt van de Luhur Poten-tempel. Deze tempel wordt nog steeds actief gebruikt tijdens ceremonies. Meestal is het gesloten, maar je kunt er in kijken. Als het open is, vraag toestemming om binnen te gaan.
Daarna is het 45 minuten lopen naar de top van de Bromo - op één manier. Kijk zo nu en dan terug. Niet alleen om op adem te komen, maar ook om het steeds veranderende landschap te consumeren. Je kunt altijd een paard huren als je niet van wandelen houdt (niet inbegrepen - ongeveer IDR 100.000). Staan aan de top van deze actieve vulkaan is een ontzagwekkende ervaring. Wanneer je terugkeert naar je Jeep, staat je chauffeur op je te wachten. Je gaat terug naar het dorp Cemara Lawang waar je zult ontbijten. Na het ontbijt gaat u terug naar uw comfortabele auto om uw terugreis naar Surabaya te beginnen.
Deze betoverende watervallen bevinden zich op weg naar Surabaya. De wandeling is vrij eenvoudig en duurt slechts ongeveer 30 minuten per enkele reis. Maar ... wees klaar om nat te worden. Als je tijd hebt, kun je deze heilige watervallen bezoeken. Als de tijd niet voldoende is, b.v. je moet een vlucht halen, je keert direct terug naar Surabaya.
Na de tour keert u terug naar de stad Surabaya. We kunnen je overal laten vallen; hotel, treinstation of luchthaven. Als je naar Malang wilt, kunnen we je in Malang laten vallen.

We spent a magical experience at Bromo during the sunrise and the rest. A lot of people but because it was in July and during the week-end but still awesome and beautiful :-) Helios did the best to make us cumfortable. They borrowed us jacket for the cold, water, breakfast, snacks. Furthermore, I asked them for others tours/transfer in Java and they always answered to me and proposed me good advices and prices.

When you book tours online it's difficult to get exactly what you paid for. In this case we got even more. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We have a very good time with our driver Herry going from surabaya to cemoro lawang and back without any delay or problem. The tour itself was unforgettable: we have seen the sunrise from king kong hill (we were very lucky because the visibility was perfect) and then went for a trek to reach the volcano and see the inside (more or less the tour started at 3 am and ended at 9 am). Many thanks to our guide Dyva (sorry if it is misspelled) who was perfect and very kind. 100% recommended!
Great activity with amazing views for the sunrise. All the plan was perfectly organised so we enjoyed everything a lot.
very good experience. The driver Wiwin spoke good English. The Bromo sunrise is fantastic, the water fall is also amazing but the park of water fall is not well maintained otherwise should have better experience.

Started at 1am, quick ride out of the city which leads to a lot of off-roading. Forget about your plans to take a nap in the car😂 super cold up there. Carry your own jackets or you can rent it up at the viewpoint. I experienced a temperature of 7C. Beautiful view. The guide that was assigned took us to the best possible viewpoint. Amaze!! Came back down exploded the volcano crater then went and explored the valley fields. Everything was taken care of and we just existed haha. Join their tour.

Trip was tiring, mainly because I flew in to Sby Friday night and was picked up the same night to head to Bromo. The guide Dian was great, everything was explained and also taken care of. If you can't speak a word of bahasa, you definitely need to get a guide like Dian. The waterfall was awesome and somewhat more enjoyable than watching the sunrise over bromo?!
The tour was fantastic and effortless, but maybe that’s not helpful to you. What might be: I was having trouble booking a train ticket out of Surabaya for the next day, so when I arrived at the airport to wait for the tour I didn’t have onward travel. My guide, Yuli, took me all around the city from convenience stores to offices to the train station trying to get me out the next day. He did this without being asked, and without expecting anything for it. When solo, these are the things that really make you feel good. Thanks a lot Yuli!
I booked a sunrise tour to Mount Bromo, where I was picked up and dropped back off at Surabaya airport. We drove to the national park, slept in the car for a couple of hours, then switched to a jeep to start the journey. As we were early, we stopped off for a breakfast of noodles, tempe and coffee, which my tour guide Nico very kindly paid for (I was definitely not expecting him to!). After watching the sunrise, Nico left me to climb Bromo myself which was very straightforward. As a piece of advice, it is cold watching the sunrise but then as you walk across the sand to climb Bromo, it gets very hot very quickly - I would recommend wearing layers so that you can strip off as it warms up. Also note that you will definitely end up with black dust/sand in every part of your body, the worst was up my nose! Nico was lovely, stopping on the drive whenever I wanted to and making sure I was comfortable so that I could sleep in the car. He even stopped at one point when we were in a remote area to show me the stars which was amazing. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend.
