Ontdek de ziel van Bogotá tijdens een tour die cultuur, kunst en traditie combineert. Onder begeleiding van een professionele gids vertrekt u vanuit uw hotel naar de Chorro de Quevedo, de geboorteplaats van de stad. Hierna bezoekt u iconische plekken zoals het Colombiaanse Instituut voor Antropologie en Geschiedenis, het García Márquez Cultureel Centrum, het Casa de la Moneda en het beroemde Botero Museum, waar de meest iconische werken van de Colombiaanse kunstenaar te vinden zijn. De route gaat verder richting het Teatro Colón, de kerk van San Ignacio en het majestueuze Plaza de Bolívar, het historische en politieke hart van de hoofdstad. De tour wordt afgesloten met een bezoek aan het prachtige Goudmuseum, waar meer dan 34.000 gouden en zilveren voorwerpen uit de precolumbiaanse tijd worden tentoongesteld. Deze voorwerpen getuigen van de culturele rijkdom van de oude Colombiaanse beschavingen. Een authentieke en fascinerende ervaring waarbij u Bogotá ervaart via de kunst, geschiedenis en koloniale geest.

Het Goudmuseum van Bogotá herbergt een van de belangrijkste collecties ter wereld van precolumbiaans erfgoed, met meer dan 30.000 stukken over inheemse culturen. De bank werd in 1939 opgericht en wordt beheerd door de Banco de la República. Het is een cultureel icoon van Colombia. Dit kan gebeuren als de Balsa Muisca en de Poporo Quimbaya.
Het museum is gevestigd in een gerestaureerd koloniaal huis, waar schilderijen, sculpturen en schilderijen te zien zijn die de volumetrische stijl en de volle persoonlijkheid van Botero weerspiegelen, evenals werken van Monet, Picasso en Dalí uit hun privécollectie.
Het is een cultureel ontmoetingspunt: cafés, kunststraten, winkelend publiek en toeristen leven samen in een pittoreske ruimte met een sterk erfgoed.

Deze dienst is alleen beschikbaar op woensdag en vrijdag. U wordt om 8:00 uur opgehaald bij uw hotel in de stad, want de tour start om 9:00 uur. Deze service is beschikbaar in elk hotel in de stad.

It was a very interesting and informative Museum. The Museum is free for Senior Citizens. Many of the exaibits were in both Spanish and English. Some of the translations to English were a bit odd. Whice were there a special program was presented to a group of young school children.

Colombia is lovely but Andrés made us fall in love with this land and obviously left us wanting to come back, by the way.. Andres makes some spectacular photos we get very good memories.
