Wees getuige van de magnifieke schoonheid van Angthong Marine Park met een eendaagse tour naar de eilandschatten in de Golf van Thailand. De bemanning van de Blue Star-boot neemt je mee op een zeekajakavontuur door kleine grotten, meren en naar met palmbomen omzoomde stranden van Koh Mae Ko en Koh Wua Talap.

Je dag begint met ophalen van je hotel in Koh Samui en transfer naar Nathon Pier. U stapt dan aan boord van de volledig uitgeruste Blue Stars-boot met comfortabele stoelen, groot zonnedek, toilet en douche. Ontmoet de vriendelijke bemanning en geniet van een licht ontbijt terwijl je gids een briefing geeft over de activiteiten van de dag.
Je eerste stop is Koh Tai Plao, een klein eiland dat perfect is om te kajakken. Peddel door het kalme water en verken de verborgen baaien en grotten van het eiland. U kunt ook zwemmen of snorkelen in het kristalheldere water.
Geniet na het kajakken van een heerlijke lunch aan boord van de boot. Dan is het tijd om naar Koh Mae Ko te gaan. Dit eiland is de thuisbasis van een prachtig smaragdgroen meer, dat je kunt bereiken door een kort maar steil pad te beklimmen.
Je laatste stop is Koh Wua Talap, het grootste eiland in het Ang Thong National Marine Park. Hier kun je relaxen op het strand, zwemmen of per kajak het eiland verkennen. Je kunt ook naar het uitkijkpunt klimmen voor een prachtig uitzicht op het park, of een trektocht maken naar de prachtige Bua Bok-grot en de monumentale stalagmieten en stalactieten bekijken.
Na een hele dag verkennen is het tijd om terug te gaan naar Koh Samui. Geniet van vers fruit en een snack op de boot terwijl je ontspant en nadenkt over je geweldige dag.

Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel op Koh Samui, vlakbij de hoofdweg. Als u op de heuvel verblijft, kom dan naar een nabijgelegen hotel. De exacte ophaaltijd wordt per e-mail bevestigd nadat u de boeking heeft gemaakt. Vanwege tijdgebrek is deelname aan de reis vanaf cruiseschepen niet mogelijk. Om deze reden kunnen we geen boekingen van cruisepassagiers accepteren. Large boat, banana and muffin for breakfast, decent lunch, kayaking and a good amount of time at both stops. They do charge for bottled water, our driver was a little late so we had to sit at a table on the lower level (upper deck was full), and the tide was low so we couldn’t kayak through any caves. The guides were awesome, though it was hard to hear with the sound system. It was a decent tour but I paid a lot more thinking it was a small all inclusive group but it was the same tour that was half the price but just had the park passes included…
The tour was conducted in German and English. Super guide... Much seen and very varied.
Well organized tour, we saw a lot of beautiful places, had a nice kayak experience and took a great photos. Special thanks to all the boat crew and the guides, who took care of us and made our day great. Thank you 😊
Such a great day! Blue Stars staff couldn’t be faulted. They really looked after us as a family of 4 and one with mobility issues. They made sure we were fed and watered often and kept us entertained. We saw some amazing views of the park and kayaked as a group around some of the islands, swam off the boat (the ladder goes into the water so I didn’t have to panic getting back on!) and visited some beautiful beaches too. A must do trip!
Wonderful trip!! Mini bus picked me up promptly at my hotel and ride to the pier was smooth. Big boat ride to Ang Thong takes about 1 1/2 hrs each way, good to be prepared for that. It makes sense because they carry the kayaks, lunch & ~40 people. Chose to kayak twice, water was rough yesterday and make sure you wear sunscreen or long sleeves, pants, kayaks are sit on top. Crew & guides were great! Enjoyed my day completely & would highly recommend. The islands are so distinct, like "Asian hoodoos" if you have ever travelled to British Columbia or Alberta. Quite fantastic! The islands are limestone with lots of caves, places to explore when the water is calm. Guides do whatever they can to make sure everyone has a memorable experience. Please book & go
Great day trip! Friendly staff, spacious boat, good breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Appreciated filtered water in real cups rather than continually adding to the plastic water bottle rubbish. Kayaking was great, nice beach stop. Thank you

We were really looking forward to this trip and thought it would be a highlight of our holiday. But by 2pm we wished we could leave. The boat was so slow - one hour 45 minutes to the first stop - and then the kayaking was okay but not much fun. We did about 5 minutes swimming/snorkelling before abandoning due to the murky waters and too many sharp rocks. Sat on the boat waiting ages for rest of the group to finish kayaking. Lunch was very good. At the second stop we were crammed into a long tail boat to get to the island, it was only a few minutes but not very pleasant. Walk up to the viewpoint is a very steep concrete ladder with a rusty rail, my legs ached badly for 2 days afterwards. Loads of people at the top and view not that great. Third stop was spoiled by pouring rain which was obviously not the operators fault. But 70 minutes sheltering from rain (couldn’t face walk up to view due to achy legs) was very boring. My husband went to the top but couldn’t see anything due to cloud. I think on a sunny day this trip (and views etc) could have been quite good but it also needed the guides to interact with the group more and try and make it fun, instead of just shouting instructions at us, and for the group to be smaller so we didn’t hang around so much. We got picked up at 7.30am and dropped back at 6.30pm (nice a/c minivan and driver) so it was 11 hours out for an at best mediocre trip. It might be better on a speedboat too as they could dock at the pontoons unlike this boat, which would avoid getting into the long tail boat each time.

Large group was easily accommodated. Kayaking was fun with unforgettable views. Snorkeling wasn’t much to see and no fins were provided, but water felt good. Climb to see Emerald Lake wasn’t too bad. However, the climb at the 3rd stop was more challenging than we were lead to believe. Food on the boat was good. Nan was very helpful. All in all a good day!
