Stap in een wereld van ijs tijdens deze begeleide gletsjerwandeling vanuit Skaftafell. Verken een adembenemende uitlaatklep van Vatnajökull, de grootste gletsjer van Europa, in een kleine groep onder leiding van een gecertificeerde Gids. Geen ervaring nodig — alle uitrusting is aanwezig. Nadat je je Gids in Skaftafell hebt ontmoet, maak je je klaar en ga je de gletsjer op, waar je tussen torenhoge ijsformaties, diepe spleten en opvallend blauw ijs loopt. Leer meer over gletsjerlandschappen, vulkanische krachten en hoe de gletsjers van IJsland worden gevormd en gevormd. Super fun trip! Our guide Unnur Egla was super nice and enthusiastic. We learned a lot about how the glacier behaves. I would recommend this trip to everyone who loves hiking and nature!!
Worth checking out. We did a three and a half hour visit to the falling glacier and learned much about the geology of the area. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. We had six adults in our group along with about ten others and the trip was interesting and worthwhile. I recommend.

First time doing a glacier hike and it was a very cool experience! Nice views, good equipment was provided and our guide (Przemyslaw) was great. I learned a lot and he made the whole afternoon very enjoyable, funny as well as interesting and educational. Highly recommend this!

This was great. Barto was very knowledgeable and personable. The walk on the ice was more strenuous than I expected, but still very do-able for my husband and myself.
Guidance Przemyslav is Polish, speaks English very well, and people are good, my physical strength is poor, he will take special care of me, give me more help. I especially liked the quiet time he gave us on the mountain for a few minutes to enjoy nature.

Przemyslav was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable about the glacier and the local geology. He made sure everyone had a great experience including those with uncertain footing and made sure even offer them an arm down if needed. Excellent tour! Can only recommend.

Just do it, it's worth it. You really have time for unique moments, also easily doable for children.
