Het plannen van uw vakantie in uw eigen selves maakt het moeilijker voor u om de hele hoogtepunten van een land te bezoeken. De reden dat ik ervoor kies om verschillende soorten ervaringen op maat aan te bieden, is om je het beste van mijn prachtige land te laten zien vanuit het perspectief van de lokale bevolking.

De oude Ottomaanse stad Gjirokastër, een UNESCO-werelderfgoed, is onze volgende stop. We gaan naar het kasteel, dat uitkijkt over de hele stad en de rest van het Gjere-gebergte. Bezoek het museum en luister naar de geschiedenis van deze prachtige stad. Na wat foto's van het landschap gaan we naar de 17e-eeuwse Ottomaanse bazaar, die de perfecte gelegenheid biedt om wat lokaal geïnspireerde souvenirs te kopen. Een ander 18e/19e-eeuws Ottomaans bouwwerk, het Skenduli-huis, is bewaard gebleven sinds het werd afgenomen van de rijke Skenduli-familie aan het begin van het communisme in Albanië. Een familielid van de 10e generatie zal ons rondleiden en al zijn eigenaardigheden uitleggen.
De laatste stop is terug in Saranda, waar ik je naar mijn favoriete plek zal brengen om te genieten van het adembenemende landschap als de zonsondergang. Als je wilt, kan dit zwemmen of lokaal gekweekt fruit met wat drankjes zijn, wat zorgt voor een onvergetelijke dag.
Ga met me mee op een reis die verder gaat dan de gewone bezienswaardigheden en ervaringen die de meeste toeristen in Albanië kunnen vinden. Mijn rondleiding biedt de perfecte gelegenheid om kennis te maken met de cultuur en tradities van mijn land, en om met eigen ogen de wilde natuur van het lonische land te zien. Net zo belangrijk is dat ik je fotograaf kan zijn, zodat elk speciaal moment van je avontuur wordt vastgelegd. De reis begint vanuit uw accommodatie en neemt u mee langs de schilderachtige route tussen de bergen naar de Blue Eye-bron, een beroemd natuurmonument hier, u heeft het genoegen om het bos te verkennen en de kristalheldere bron van de Bistrica-rivier te vinden. Opstandige toeristen springen misschien in het ijskoude water, maar dat is alleen voor de dapperen! Misschien kan ik je in plaats daarvan vertellen over de meest interessante legendes over de oorsprong van Blue Eye.

Very good service of the Company. This was the highlight of our holidays in Albani. We had a paddle tour with our guide and he suggested us a day trip to Gjirokaster , a UNESCO site which was absolutely magnificient. You should try this tour. Note: book in advance. They are almost full in the summer and you'd badely find seats.

This is such a fantastic tour! Ari is an amazing guide and he kept my 2 teenage kids and myself entertained for the whole day. He is extremely knowledgable and adapted our trip to our needs. We took the tour from Tirana to Sarande which was a great way to make the trip without needing to do the drive myself while also seeing so much on the way. Thank you so much Ari!
Ari, our guide, was fantastic. Gave me a proper history lesson on the drive and had plenty of other knowledge during the day. All 3 locations were worth the time. Blue Eye has a train for those worried about the walk. My favourite part was gjirokaster bazaar, lovely place to walk around, and definitely take Ari's recommendation for lunch.
Ari is the only guide you need for Southern Albania - he is the most thoughtful, interesting, helpful and practical guide possible. Nothing was too much trouble as he effortlessly guided me through the complicated but fascinating history of his country, answering questions patiently and in a most captivating manner. He also expertly guided his trusty Nissan through the challenging streets of Gjirokaster! I would not hesitate to recommend this tour, particularly as Ari has such a passion for his job. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

My family and I did a tour to Blue Eye, Gjirokaster and Lekursi Castle. All these places are must see. Our guide Valentina was very professional, talkative and very knowledgeable. We adored her passion and her love for her country. We would highly suggest this tour with Valentina.

10/10 recommend. We had limited time in the Saranda region and wanted to focus our tour in just the blue eye and Gjirokastra - Ari was able to customize a trip that fit our needs. Both locations were incredible - a must see. He is extremely personable and very easy to talk with. We enjoyed learning about the places we were visiting and Albania as a whole with him as he is very knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend booking with him enough!
