Bioluminescentie is ongetwijfeld een ervaring die je niet mag missen als je naar Holbox komt. Een spectaculair fenomeen dat op weinig plaatsen in de wereld voorkomt. Waar de wateren van de kust worden verlicht door honderden levende micro-organismen (plankton) die oplichten wanneer ze de golven raken. Het licht is meestal zo fel dat zelfs vissen in het water te zien zijn. Organismen die, net als vuurvliegjes, hun eigen blauwe licht uitstralen. Beleef deze ervaring op een all-terrain tour, vanuit het comfort van uw hotel.

Bioluminescentie in Holbox is een fenomeen dat optreedt op de zuidelijke stranden van het eiland en 's nachts kan worden waargenomen wanneer het helemaal donker is. Tijdens deze landtour zullen onze gespecialiseerde gidsen je in een van onze terreinvoertuigen naar het einde van het eiland vervoeren, naar de lagune van Punta Cocos, het meest ongerepte en mooiste strand van Holbox. Nice excursion, we could see the plankons illuminated.. nice souvenir And our guide was super friendly and he explained the phenomenon well and we also talked about the stars! A nice evening

The experience was superb - quite magical to see the bioluminescence. Our guide Ivan was very knowledgable and was able to take us to some quiet spots to get the most out of the experience, tell us all about the bioluminescence and even the constellations we could see at the same time. Great guide and I would definitely recommend this experience!

The tour was amazing! I did the tpur with diego and he is such a good guide! Riding the kayak at night is super fun and an incomparable activity that ive never done this way before. During the tour, Diego gave us information not only about the Bioluminessence but also about the constellation of the stars, which was super interesting. Also he answered any questions you had and was really helpful. Would definetely recommend to do the tour. Can get a little cold at night on the kayak but is so worth the experience!

We went to see the bioluminescence at 4 in the morning and it was impressive. The guide would pick you up at the hotel and then return you right at the door. The experience was very impressive. We saw the phenomenon in a very clear way and also super well explained by our guide Diego, who also explained the constellations and we could enjoy how amazing the stars were. 100% recommended the experience, plus Diego is very nice!!

We found the tour itself very nice, everything wonderfully explained. We got to know a lot about the plankton and about the stars and felt comfortable. Unfortunately it has to be mentioned that the pickup went a bit chaotic and we had a longer wait at pickup. We would still recommend the tour!
