Stap in het hart van de Baskische gastronomie. Tijdens deze Gids pintxos food tour in Bilbao brengt je lokale gids de smaken, tradities en verhalen van de regio tot leven. Geniet van ijskoude txakoli, onze lokale wijn, probeer premium Rioja-wijnen en geniet van authentieke Baskische tapas —los pintxos— die op zowel traditionele als moderne manieren worden bereid. Onze tour biedt voldoende eten en drinken, zodat u achteraf geen maaltijd hoeft te plannen. In slechts drie uur hop je tussen een samengestelde selectie bars : enkele bekende favorieten, andere echte lokale geheimen. In een kleine en intieme groep van max. 6 personen dwaal je door de smalle straatjes van de Casco Viejo, je Expert lokale Gids creëert een persoonlijke route die garant staat voor een verrassende, onvergetelijke en authentieke ervaring. Je verkent Bilbao niet alleen, je wordt ook onderdeel van onze cuadrilla, onze vriendenkring. Met 6 pintxos en 4 drankjes is dit meer dan een wandeltocht. Historische voedselmarkt waar je van alles en nog wat kunt vinden. Hier gaan zowel de lokale bevolking als geweldige chef-koks van restaurants met Michelin-sterren winkelen voor hun ingrediënten.
Gelegen in het hart van Casco Viejo, staat het bekend om zijn beroemde pintxobars die zowel door de lokale bevolking als door bezoekers worden bezocht. Bij deze halte zullen we beginnen met het leren kennen van die lekkernijen die we in Baskenland pintxos noemen. We stoppen bij een bar en proeven pintxos.
We stoppen bij een straat waar verschillende klassieke bars zijn geconcentreerd, waar de "txikiteros", lokale wijndrinkers, liedjes zingen terwijl ze drinken. Hier hebben we de gelegenheid om een typische wijn uit Baskenland te proeven, zoals Txakolí.

Our Pinxtos tour was terrific: our guide Roberto took us to amazing pinxtos bars that were historic, had great food, wine, and with informative and fun conversation. The only issue we had was that we didn’t do it sooner in our stay in Bilbao!
We did a Pinxtos tour with Rik. Rik is an enthusiastic guide, with beautiful stories and knows a lot of history. He knows how to find the nice pinxtos.
Our guide OSCAR was outstanding. When local disruptions appeared to be about to affect our tour he contacted us quickly and helpfully rearranged dates . He had wide and interesting knowledge of the city , the country and local affairs and of course food and wine.He was very happy to answer our questions and change his proposed walking route and visits to suit our interests .As we walked around saw several interesting sites in the city . He was very friendly and ensured we all had a very enjoyable and interesting evening. We visited several very different pubs and tried a range of foods ,snacks and drinks. It was a great evening thanks to Oscar - we would all highly recommend the tour and Oscar in particular,

My wife and I joined a Thursday evening walking food tour in Old Town Bilbao, and we happened to be the only guests that night. Far from diminishing the experience, it made the tour feel even more personal. Our guide, who grew up in the neighborhood, shared his deep knowledge and passion for the area. He tailored the evening to our interests—history, culture, and of course, the food! The streets were buzzing with locals and tourists alike, creating a wonderful vibe. The pintxos were excellent, and every stop our guide chose was spot‑on. Between the atmosphere, the flavors, and the insights into Bilbao’s heritage, this was a truly memorable experience. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting the city. * Apologies for not taking more pictures during the tour but I was too busy enjoying the food and drinks! 🙃

Great experience. You go to bars and restaurants you would never go to otherwise. Especially in the old town it is very cozy and tasty! Our guide Oscar knows all the streets and bars of Bilbao and knows a lot about them. You have to see it!

Oskar made this tour so interesting. The food and wine he choose at each bar were outstanding. He was so personable that if felt like we were out on a Saturday night with a good friend. Since this is our first visit to Bilbao, we booked this for our first night primarily to get us oriented to the city. It was so much more than that! Our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and engaging. The 4 places we visited were very local. Even if we had found them, we wouldn't have known the best things to order. Let's just say Bilbao deserves its reputation as a Gastronomic center and this tour is a great way to explore it.
