Zwevend langs spectaculaire geologische formaties en uitzicht op de Sangre de Cristo bergketen terwijl je spannende Class II-III stroomversnellingen loopt. Deze reis is geschikt voor gezinnen, first timers of ervaren rafters met een prachtig uitzicht en veel avontuur. U loopt de beste 10 mijl wildwater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, groepen of individuen die voor het eerst of voor de tiende keer wildwaterraften in Colorado willen ervaren. Geweldig uitzicht en avontuur! 2 tot 3 uur op het water. Dit is de enige reis die vanuit een van onze locaties kan starten.

Je zult elkaar ontmoeten op ons kantoor en inchecken met ons vriendelijke kantoorpersoneel, je gids ontmoeten, uitrusten met de juiste rafting-uitrusting, doorheen gaan en diepgaande veiligheidsoriëntatie en vervolgens op een busje of bus stappen voor een 25-30 rit naar de rivier zet int
Eenmaal aangekomen bij de rivier krijg je specifiek een professionele gids die je meeneemt op een avontuur van je leven! U zult 2-2,5 uur doorbrengen op het water dat geweldig witwater loopt, potentiële Bighorn Sheep waarnemingen en het bekijken van een geweldig Colorado landschap.
Nadat je je geweldige reis hebt voltooid, brengen we je terug naar ons kantoor, dat op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden ligt. Eenmaal aangekomen op ons kantoor kun je je in droge kleren veranderen en je actiefoto's van je rivierreis bekijken!

We are visiting from California, my family has done the tour before but this is my very first time water rafting. Our guide was Hales. She was absolutely amazing, she made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Her instructions was very clear. It was our family and she made sure the kids were having blast, ofcourse the adults as as well. I think the other guides were also very nice and they all had a great positive attitudes making sure all of the groups would have an amazing time. The lady in the front desk by the merch was very kind and welcoming. Thank you so much for giving us an unforgettable experience!

We had a great time, despite the low river levels this summer. Our guide, Tyler, was safety conscious and gave clear instructions for paddling and navigating specific locations.
Great time on the river. Our four-person (generally inexperienced) adult group enjoyed everything about this tour. Dave, the “E-Man,” navigated the Arkansas with skill and directed our group with clear communication. The check-in, safety brief, launch and round trip transportation were efficient and pleasant. The river swimming hole stop was a refreshing break. The staff really did a great job. I highly recommend ART and Dave and plan to book with them in the future.

I had a great time on the river today. All I can describe the days events is that IT WAS AWESOME. I never did anything like this before so was not sure what to expect, but our guide Emma was the best. Words can not describe how knowledgeable and enthusiastic she was and how encouraging she was to her "crew" with different skill sets. I highly recommend her and the outfit she works with. I would definitely do this again.

We had a fantastic afternoon with Arkansas River Tours. Our guide, E Man, was a great character and so knowledgeable. He taught us how to paddle and our young teenage son felt very safe. His highlight was jumping off a rock into the river! We all had a chance to swim which was an added bonus. The tour left promptly and we were way ahead of the other tour operators on the river. The only tiny negative feedback was the cost of the photos which was high - at around $20 we would have bought one but we felt $35 was too expensive. All in all, it was a brilliant day and we would only ever use Arkansas River Tours for future trips. Thanks!
