Had so much fun and our tour guide was so cool and nice!
Had an awesome time every time I go ( this will be my 3rd time with Lost Paddle) . Kelly is awesome , down to earth , our guide Trent was amazing, knowledgeable and strong with that rock that didn't want to let us go 😁 . I will be making it there every year .
Getting there was fairly easy, and Lost Paddle has their website and booking process set up well. They’re a very small outfit, I believe they told us they’re actually the smallest rafting company on the Arkansas River, and that ended up being part of what made the experience so enjoyable and personal. The team at check-in was great from the start. Tanya, our “blind bus driver” 😂, was fantastic and definitely added some laughs to the trip. Our guides, Noah, Trent, and Joe, were all amazing. We quickly nicknamed Noah and Trent Ike 1 and Ike 2, and the whole crew did an excellent job keeping everyone safe while still making the trip fun. We had quite an age range in our group, from 35 to 79 years old, and everyone had a great time. The rafting itself was perfect for a family group. We even stopped for a quick swim in the Arkansas River. We probably could have stayed in the water a little longer, but schedules are schedules! Overall, Lost Paddle is a great little company with a really good group of people. They made our trip down the Arkansas River fun, safe, relaxed, and memorable. Definitely a trip worth taking. We’d recommend Lost Paddle to anyone looking to raft the Arkansas River!
Great views, great guide, amazing experience. Will be back next summer for sure.
We had such a fantastic experience with Lost Paddle Rafting. Our guide, Noah, was incredible. He made the trip special for all of us (ages 6-68). He kept us safe, made us laugh, and provided the perfect level of challenge on the river. He even gave us recommendations of local place he loved to eat and fun things to do with our kids! We love supporting this small business that is women-owned as opposed to a larger company in the area!
Kyle was a fantastic guide. As the water was low, he switched us to a smaller raft and we had a better experience. This is great for beginners to experienced rafters. We will look to bring our grandkids soon!
Another great time with Lost Paddle rafting. Our guide Kelly was great as was the entire Lost Paddle crew.
Our family had the best time on this float! There were 6 of us and, because of the lower water levels, they asked if we minded splitting into two groups to avoid getting stuck in the low areas. We split 3 boys and 3 girls and had the time of our lives!! The girls had Kelly as a tour guide, who was awesome! She was so kind and knowledgeable about everything along the way. The boys group had an awesome guide as well. We spent the day navigating class 2 and 3 rapids and made sure to start a water fight with the boys boat every time we met up. Our guides participated in the war and even helped us to sneak attack the other boat. About 2/3 of the way through, we pulled off to the side and swam for a bit, which was so nice given the high temps. There was a rock that we all jumped off of and the guides even helped us climb to the top of the rock because some of us (me… I’m the problem, it’s me) were afraid we might die getting to the jump off point. To be clear, it wasn’t very high and 6 year old children did it without issue. I’m just terrified of heights. All in all, we had a blast and can’t wait to come back next time and try the royal gorge trip!
GG was our guide and she made the trip so much fun! Thanks
We had a great time with Lost Paddle! The water levels were low but it didn't stop us having fun. Andrew, our guide, carefully led us through the river - avoiding major rocks and bumps (even though we wanted to feel the bumpiness). Prior to the getting on the raft, safety measures were discussed and helmets and PFDs were checked. Our family (54, 53, 21 and 18) really enjoyed our time and it was a highlight!
