Ervaar de sensatie van het zien van de iconische Big Five olifanten, leeuwen, luipaarden, neushoorns en Kaapse buffels in een privé wildreservaat op ongeveer 200 km van Kaapstad, op ongeveer 2 uur en 30 minuten rijden. Ontspan met handige hotel pick-up en drop-off voordat u geniet van een gedeelde of privé safari game drive begeleid door ervaren rangers. Houd er rekening mee dat de toegangsprijs voor de wildreserve niet is inbegrepen in de tourkosten. Deze kosten zijn inclusief toegang tot het reservaat, een lunchbuffet, een begeleide safari game drive en een gratis welkomstglas bubbels voor een complete safari-ervaring

Ophalen begint bij uw hotels binnen een straal van 15 km van het stadscentrum om ongeveer 08:00 uur. We vertrekken naar Aquila Private Game Reserve voor een onvergetelijke Afrikaanse safari in de buurt van Kaapstad. We stoppen in Paarl voor een wijnproeverij.
Onze eerste stop is het wijndomein Fairview, waar we maximaal 5 premiumwijnen proeven, gecombineerd met een verscheidenheid aan de beste kazen die op dit bekroonde wijndomein worden geproduceerd. Fairview is een werkende boerderij, waar een verzameling micro-ondernemingen is gevestigd die allemaal een gemeenschappelijk doel delen: ambachtelijke en duurzame producten creëren, met een focus op goede wijn en kaas.
Toegangsticket : Houd er rekening mee dat het toegangsticket voor het reservaat niet is inbegrepen in de tourprijs. Dit ticket moet op de ochtend van de safari direct bij de reserve worden betaald, of we sturen u vooraf een betaallink. De toegangsprijs is ongeveer R1890 per persoon. Bij aankomst wordt een welkomstdrankje aangeboden en we genieten van de lunch voordat we beginnen aan een 3 uur durende gamedrive in een open safarivoertuig met een eersteklas game ranger Gids. Kort na de safari-ervaring keren we terug naar Kaapstad, waar u om ongeveer 17:30 uur wordt afgezet bij uw accommodatie. De lunch wordt geserveerd als een volledig buffet voor zowel vegetariërs als niet-vegetariërs. Alle alcoholische dranken zijn uitgesloten en zijn voor eigen rekening.
Na onze spannende ervaring in het Aquila Safari Game Reserve rijden we ontspannen terug naar Kaapstad en wordt u afgezet bij uw accommodatie.

Wonderful tour with Papi today. Picked up from our apartment on time. A courtesy call night before and just prior to arrival. Went to Fairview winery and had a lovely wine and cheese tasting. The wines and 6 different cheeses lovely. The venue was absolutely beautiful with lots of parking and gorgeous trees. Papi then drove us through amazing mountains and scenery to reach Aquila game reserve. His drivng was impeccable, staying within speed limit and being courteous to other drivers. He opened doors for us and helped with bags. Loved the game reserve. We went with game keeper, Nigel. His knowledge was exceptional. We saw a lion, elephants, hippos, zebras, ostrich, antelope, giraffe, rinos and buffalo. Stopped for refreshments half way through. We enjoyed a lovely lunch as well. Smorgasbord with hot meat and vegetables, salads and cakes. It was a lovely drive back with a stop high in the mountains to watch the sunset. Thank you so much Papi for a memorable day.

Fantastic trip, Saw four of the big five animals. Great drive around a bit bumpy, but great fun. The guide was funny and very informative. Lunch was a buffet and lots of choice and very tasty. If you’re leaving from Cape Town it’s a good 2.5 hour drive but certainly worth it. Won’t be back but a fantastic experience.

Our tour guide Leon was amazing. He was very informative and helped us get from our hotel to the winery to the safari and back to our hotel with zero issues. The winery was incredible and we were able to ship wines back home very easily. Lunch at Aquila was very nice. The safari was incredible - our entire group saw beautiful animals and captured very special photos. The van that transported our group of 9 was very clean and comfortable, will lots of space for all of us. Highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to SA to have a fun and special day!

Beautiful game reserve and we got to see four of the Big 5. The guide was informative, the wildlife came pretty close, and the sights within the park were beautiful! There were some technical difficulties during the tour but the guide and the park handled it efficiently and made the best time out of our trip. Highly recommend this excursion!

It should be a great experience, but the time is too fast, the two key points (taste of wine + safari) can only be stopped for a short time, it is a pity, hopefully in the future we can increase the stay time, and slowly enjoy the wonderful journey
Complete rip off never got to the park, had contact with operator about times before arrival sat parking lot over 2.5 hrs waiting on others to get off ship then told we could not go to park. taken to crap winery made to pay for own lunch last stop a 5 dollar run down petting zoo then returned to our ship Viator says this is within their policy so was full charged for day
