Nadat u bent opgehaald bij het hotel, bezoekt u de belangrijkste plek van de stad Phnom Penh, de basisgeschiedenis van de stad. Breng hier ongeveer 20 minuten door.
Het originele treinstation dat in 1932 werd gebouwd toen Cambodja onder de Franse koloniale macht stond. Je zult zien dat de lokale bevolking op bezoek komt en zich ontspant langs de spoorlijn.
Het Koninklijk Paleis werd gebouwd in 1866 toen de koning de hoofdstad van Udong verplaatste. Deze plek zul je je gewoon afvragen aan de voorkant van het Koninklijk Paleis. Hier zie je dat veel mensen 's avonds ronddwalen en lokaal eten eten.
Het Onafhankelijkheidsmonument staat op de kruispuntweg in het stadscentrum, dicht bij het hoofdgebied. Dit monument herdenkt de onafhankelijkheid van de Fransen in 1953. Erg blij 's nachts.
Het standbeeld van koning Norrodom Sihanouk staat op een groot strippark dat meer dan een miljoen dollar heeft gekost. Het standbeeld werd gebouwd nadat hij in 2013 stierf. Hier leer je veel over de bijdragen van de koning aan een land en de onafhankelijkheid van Cambodja. Dit is een geweldige plek om te wandelen en de realiteit van de Cambodjaanse bevolking te zien.
De patriarch van de monnik, geboren in 1863 en stierf in 1969, Chun Nath. Hij was een koning van monniken die een meester was in de Khmer-taal. Het standbeeld staat naast het zeer mooie Boeddhismecentrum en een vijfsterrenhotel in de buurt van het diamanteneiland. Daar kun je ook een Cambodjaanse vergadering zien.
Dit is het eigenlijke eiland, maar door de overheid vergroot tot een van de grootste bezienswaardigheden in Phnom Penh. Deze plek is erg leuk om 's avonds rond te gaan om het torenhoge gebouw van Phnom Penh en de mooie rivieroever te zien.
Als je over de markt loopt, kun je zien hoe de lokale bevolking geniet van hun tijd met familie en vrienden, en je kunt ook wat souvenirs kopen.
Het buitenaardse monument van de twee landen dat op het grootste strippark naast de belangrijkste pagode staat.

Our tour guide,Elvis, was knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and a great driver. This was truly an affordable experience!
We took the tour with CHEA. He came to pick us up at the hotel and accompanied us throughout the tour. He explained the whole city to us, and he told us everything in detail. CHEA was very nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

Do this rather than hop on hop off! Mr Tye, our Tuk Tuk driver and guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of his beloved country. He was a great driver (getting used to being on the roads here is a lot), but he made us feel very safe. He took us to all the important stops and let us go in to spend time at each, taking photos along the way. The beer was a great add
A great way to see the city highlights if time is limited. My guide Mr So y was very knowledgeable. The cold water and soft drink was a great addition to cope with the humid weather.

Had a terrific tour of this lovely city with my informative and friendly guide Nick. A perfect way to spend a few hours in a traditional tuk tuk with an English-speaking local guide. I would highly recommend this tour as it is both reasonably priced AND helpful to understanding more about the history of the country and the city. Also got to see a few sites that I had driven by earlier in the week, but did not know their significance. Covered a lot of geography during this tour, which is important in such a large spread out city. Do not hesitate. Just book this tour.
