Als we de stad Ushuaia verlaten, nemen we National Route 3 naar het gebied van de wintercentra. We dalen af in een van de centra om ons goed uit te rusten en starten zo de wandeling naar het gebied waar de bevers wonen. Onderweg kunnen we verschillende actieve bever lodges zien, waar, als we stil blijven, we deze dieren kunnen observeren met schematische gewoonten, terwijl ze hun geschiedenis en hun impact op deze landen kennen. Na de waarneming gaan we terug naar de schuilplaats om te dineren. Daarna keren we terug naar het hotel. ● Werkt van november tot maart ● Duur: 4/5 uur ongeveer. - ● Tijdschema: vanaf 18.30 uur tot 11:00 uur ● Moeilijkheidsgraad: gemiddeld ● Vertrek vanuit het hotel ● Inclusief: gids, transport, rubberen laarzen en avondeten. Exclusief drankjes. ● Aanbevolen kleding: comfortabele, warme en waterdichte kleding, comfortabel schoeisel, geen rubberen laarzen of hakken.

Bij het verlaten van de stad Ushuaia neemt u de RN 3 richting de wintercentra. Je daalt af in een van de centra, om je goed uit te rusten en zo begint de wandeling naar het gebied waar de bevers leven. Het gebied is de ideale habitat voor deze vriendelijke dieren en we zullen de mogelijkheid hebben om verschillende castorera's te verkennen met de zekerheid om ze in hun wildste staat te zien. Onderweg kunt u verschillende actieve castorera's observeren, waar u, als u zwijgt, deze dieren met schemergewoonten kunt zien, terwijl u hun geschiedenis en hun impact op deze landen kent. Na de waarneming keert u terug naar de refuge waar u wacht op een voortreffelijk diner en later terugkeert naar het hotel.

There is a high chance of seeing sea bears because they live in lagoons next to guides. The trip includes dinner, and the family of the tour guide will cook according to your meal, cook it personally, and wait for you to enjoy after you have seen the sea bear. You can feel the passion of the family guides, as well as the effort to please the guests. I was happy to have had a pleasant time with them.

Our guide was friendly and very patient with our energetic kids (thank you!). An impromptu snowball fight was their favorite part. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks, and good company. The drive, the lake, and the forest were beautiful. We looked for beavers in a few places, but they weren’t very active. We saw a few beavers swimming, but nothing like the pictures or descriptions from other reviews. Nature doesn’t always cooperate and we still had a good time.

Seeing 4 Beavers, 1 up close was a fantastic experience. The noise they make whilst eating was enjoyable to watch. The hosts were very friendly and the food they cooked was awesome. Would highly recommend this trip.

We saw so many beavers on this unique excursion. The included meal was delicious and the hosts could not have been more hospitable. Definitely would recommend this tour.
We had a lovely evening walking around a beautiful peat meadow to a pond created by beavers. Like clockwork, at 7pm the beavers came out of their home to check their pond and eat a bit of food. We watched them swim around. They are so cute and very industrious. The dam structures are complex forms of engineering. Very interesting. It was a tranquil experience and as the sun set we went back to the warm cabin for dinner. Dinner was great. We had salmon, potatoes, salad, and fresh fruit for dessert. All with a bit of wine and great conversation.
