We bezoeken niet alleen de Betoverde Stad, maar ook drie andere karakteristieke plaatsen van het natuurpark Serranía de Cuenca: de uitkijkpunten van Valdecabras en Ventano del Diablo en de prachtige Laguna de Uña

We zullen een cirkelvormig pad van 3 km lang afleggen door de bijzondere kalksteenformaties die gedurende miljoenen jaren zijn geërodeerd. De eerste, de beroemde Tormo Alto, verschijnt aan het begin van het pad met een onmogelijke vorm met een smalle basis en een brede "kop". Ze worden gevolgd door The Ships, vereeuwigd in Conan the Barbarian en The Head of Man. Daarna draait het pad om de Romeinse brug en La Foca opzij te laten voordat het de Tobogán binnengaat, een kloof van meer dan 100 meter. lang en amper een paar meter breed. Even later zullen we versteld staan van The Elephant and the Crocodile, zullen we de boog van het klooster oversteken en zullen we ons op de Plaza Mayor bevinden, omringd door gigantische paddenstoelen. We beginnen de terugweg waar we La Tortuga, Los Osos en Los Amantes de Teruel zullen bewonderen. Tijdens de tour vinden we ook de meest karakteristieke plantensoorten van het natuurpark Serranía de Cuenca: enorme zwarte dennen, taxusbomen, klimop en jeneverbessen
Naast het kleine stadje Uña, met minder dan 100 inwoners, ligt de spectaculaire lagune waaraan het zijn naam dankt. Het water is omgeven door enorme kalkstenen kliffen waar het gemakkelijk is om vale gieren te zien opstijgen van hun gieren. De wateren trekken een groot aantal eenden en ooievaars aan en verschillende vissoorten bewonen het 15 hectare grote gebied.
We kunnen genieten van de twee prachtige uitzichtpunten van de Ventano del Diablo. Men hangt ongeveer 80 meter boven het water van de Júcar-rivier in het gebied van stroomversnellingen dat bekend staat als Los Cortados. De andere laat toe om de stad Villalba de la Sierra te zien vanaf de hoogten en de verlaten stad El Salto, 100 jaar geleden gebouwd voor de arbeiders van de waterkrachtcentrale.

The excursion was very good, and the attention from the guide (Pablo) was also excellent.
Well, well, well... what can I say... It had been a while since I enjoyed a guided tour so much. I went with my aunt Mercedes, and Pablo treated us so well that we both left delighted with the morning we spent. Unmatched attention and such an enjoyable visit that, despite the slower pace my aunt and I had, it flew by. We are very grateful for their attention and professionalism and for the amount of information and curiosities we learned during the tours. If you like nature and adventure sports is a town highly recommended to stay about 3/4 days. Canoeing is possible in the ma Toba swamp. Via ferrata in the devil's window, ravines. If you like trekking you can do 9km of the route of the staircase and the stripe. Something lighter around the Nail Lagoon. Bathe in the freezing waters of the pools and recharge energy.
