Deze 3 uur durende wandeltocht beweegt in een ontspannen, lokaal tempo, afgewisseld met hartige hapjes, snoep en drankjes. De tour begint in de centrale eetzalen van Kopenhagen met klassieke smørrebrød, en gaat vervolgens in de buurt verder met een tweede kijk op deze open sandwiches, waarbij wordt benadrukt hoe kleine veranderingen in beleg en bereiding de moderne Deense keuken vormgeven. Van daaruit verschuift de focus zachtjes naar zoete smaken met traditionele harde snoepjes en een historische gebakstop, waar vlokkig deeg en warme kruiden centraal staan. We just had Ludo as our tour guide and even though he is French and only lived in Copenhagen for 3 years. His love for his newly adopted home shows through his enthusiasm. I wouldn’t tattoo the nyc subway map onto my arm but Ludo proudly shows it off. I wish Ludo the best in Copenhagen in finding the best work a rewarding life and hope he finds a new husband in cph.
Very nice city tour with good explanations, we had a lot of fun walking to visit the different places in the city and learning very interesting things about life in Copenhagen, we would have eaten a little more!
Food-tasting was great. And Mood was a good tour guide - knowledgeable and personable. But it was WAY too hot to stand in the sun while hearing about the various sites in the city. Finding shaded areas would have made such a big difference. Also - Mood was a bit surprised by our vegetarianism (and the fact that we do not eat fish), even though I noted that information when booking the tour. Not sure why he didn't know.
This food tour felt like sharing a walking meal with a knowledgeable friend. While we traveled between food stops Mood (our guide) wove in stories about the city’s history, architecture, notable individuals, and Danish customs. Mood has lived in Copenhagen for more than 10 years but he too was once new to the city. As a visitor I appreciated how this perspective highlighted both the unique attributes of the culture and the fun of exploring a new place. Mood went out of his way to offer tailored recommendations for the remainder of my trip. I truly can’t say enough positive things about this tour and I think my experiences in Copenhagen were richer because of it.
Mood was simply great! He took the time to explain the origin of the foods . His selection of historic information along the trip was truly impressive. I most strongly recommend him to all.
Simona our guide was truly amazing. She introduced us to food, desserts, candy and drinks while telling us the history of Copenhagen with such enthusiasm! My friends and I highly recommend this tour!
This food tour was so much fun! Simona was amazing. She took us to the coolest places and shared so much information with us. Not just about the food, but also some of the history of the city as well. This was a sightseeing tour… we did not go to 5 food establishments or learn about food. I should’ve just done a free walking tour and had the same experience without wasting money. Ultra disappointed. It was so far off it’s almost like the tour organizer sent the wrong guide to us. We were starving because we hadn’t eaten, fully expecting to spend 3 hours tasting and sipping. While our tour guide was lovely, it was not the tour experience we had paid for. Hoping for a refund
