Dit is een privé en exclusieve tour, je zit alleen in de groep, er zullen geen andere mensen zijn. We zullen buiten de normale toeristencircuits zijn, we zullen geïsoleerde, rustige en veilige plaatsen bezoeken. Een van de mooiste excursies om te doen op Sicilië, van de groene bergen van de Madonie tot de stranden en de zee van Cefalù. Castelbuono prachtige middeleeuwse dorp ondergedompeld in het Madonie-park rijk aan geschiedenis bezoekt u het kasteel rijk aan geschiedenis en legendes. Na de lunch gaat de tour verder naar Cefalù, bezoek aan het dorp. Vrije tijd om te winkelen in leuke winkeltjes. 17.00 uur terug naar het hotel in Palermo. deze tour wordt alleen beheerd met een chauffeur tot 7/8 personen. De bestuurder is geen erkende toeristengids. Geautoriseerde toeristische gids: zij zijn de enige professionals met een regionale vergunning. De bestuurder kan geen mensen binnen de monumenten begeleiden. Het beschikt echter over de vaardigheden om de belangrijkste hoogtepunten te promoten door historische en culturele basisinformatie te verstrekken.

Je wordt begeleid naar Castelbuono, een middeleeuws stadje in het hart van het Madonie-gebergte, je bezoekt het prachtige kasteel dat rijk is aan geschiedenis en schatten, je wandelt in het historische centrum en je kunt de desserts van het beroemde Fiasconaro-gebak proeven. als je wilt, kun je lunchen in een van de vele restaurants, beroemd om hun kaas, salami en lokaal vlees
je bezoekt de binnenkant van het prachtige middeleeuwse kasteel, met zijn unieke privékapel
je bezoekt de binnenkant van de prachtige kerk, Unesco-erfgoed
Mooie en pittoreske badplaats Cefalu, een van de meest populaire bestemmingen voor toeristen die naar Sicilië komen, hier kunt u de prachtige kathedraal bewonderen, het Arabisch-Normandische al UNESCO-erfgoed, de oude stad vol met smalle straatjes en uniek uitzicht, de kleine haven, de Bastione , het middeleeuwse Lavatoio en ten slotte het prachtige strand met fijn zand en een kristalheldere zee. Vrije tijd om te winkelen in de vele karakteristieke winkels waarvan het centrum vol is.

This tour was lovely. Many thanks to our driver/guide, Umberto, for making it such a special experience. Umberto told us many interesting stories and was a font of knowledge about Sicily. He walked through Castelbuono with us, showing us all of the incredible locally made foods as well as the sights. Personally we liked Castelbuono much more than Cefalu, but the whole day was amazing. Comfortable transport, a friendly and kind driver/guide, delicious food, and interesting sights. What more could you want?? Highly recommended!!
We had an excellent day out with Cristian. First stop was Castelbuono where we tasted pannetone and were guided around the quaint area. We then moved on to bustling Cefalu with its majestic Cathedral, narrow alleyways and lively atmosphere. Cristian was excellent throughout.
This was an excellent tour! Castlebueno and Cefalu are awesome. The best part of the day was spending time with our driver Umberto. He was extremely informative on the locations and obviously a proud Sicilian. He gave us great insights on Sicilian culture and was especially informative on Sicilian cuisine. He shared many recipes and Sicilian cooking techniques that we are excited to try at home. He’s a great guy and an awesome host. Great job Umberto!

Christian was a fantastic driver & told us about all the towns we drove through. He gave us a choice to visit Castelbuono or to go to Monreale after visiting Cefalu. We chose Monreale & really enjoyed the cathedral. Highly recommend this tour with Christian!
Umberto was very professional and gave good information about the places we visited- Cifalu and Monreale and Sicily in general. He gave us enough time to explore the areas on our own and helped with pictures of my sister and I. He gave us a good list of Italian films to see that were filmed around the areas we visited. I would recommend this tour with him.
Had a lovely week in Valderici. Historic hotel with lots of features located in a quiet fishing village. Very good organised excursions in luxury coach with good driver. Our guide/representative, Allesandro, was so interesting, caring and professional and very knowledgeable. Top class chap. Food at the hotel excellent with an amazing anti-pasta selection. Beautiful grounds with historic artefacts. Infinity pool. You need to check though whether you are in the main hotel or the apartments. Booked through Newmarket

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Cristian is most professional. He volunteered to walk with us and he always kept check to see if any of us was left behind. Most impressed with his responsible attitude and the way he introduced the places, subtle but informative. Much more value for money than the excursions offered by the cruise company.

Umberto came back for second day of touring northern Sicily from Palermo. Today we headed east. Again, great stories, history, and perspective. Drove the elevated highways and narrow ancient streets with equal skill. He was flexible and friendly throughout. Plus his culinary recommendations were spot on again! Couldn't be happier he stayed with us for this part of our adventure.
