Dag 1: Aankomst in Kochi Welkom in Kerala – Gods eigen land! Bij aankomst op Kochi Airport ontmoet u onze vertegenwoordiger en transfer naar uw hotel. Verken later de historische stad Kochi, inclusief Fort Kochi, Chinese visnetten, de St. Franciscuskerk, Nederlands Paleis en de lokale kruidenmarkten.
Dag 2: Kochi – Munnar (130 km / 4 uur) Na het ontbijt rijdt u naar het pittoreske bergstation Munnar. Geniet onderweg van het uitzicht op weelderige theeplantages, watervallen en schilderachtige valleien. Bij aankomst checkt u in bij uw hotel en brengt u de avond op uw gemak door. Maaltijden : Ontbijt
Dag 3: Munnar Sightseeing Geniet van een volledige dag het verkennen van de natuurlijke schoonheid van Munnar. Bezoek Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake en schilderachtige theetuinen. Ervaar een adembenemend uitzicht op de West-Ghats. Maaltijden : Ontbijt
Dag 4: Munnar – Thekkady (95 km / 3 uur) Na het ontbijt gaat u verder naar Thekkady, de thuisbasis van de beroemde wilde dieren en kruidenplantages van Kerala. Bezoek een kruidentuin en geniet van de serene sfeer van Periyar. Optionele activiteiten zijn een boottocht op het Periyar-meer en culturele optredens. Maaltijden : Ontbijt
Dag 5: Thekkady – Alleppey Woonboot (140 km / 4 uur) Rijd naar Alleppey en stap aan boord van uw traditionele Kerala woonboot. Vaar door de betoverende backwaters omzoomd met kokosnootboomgaarden, dorpen en rijstvelden. Geniet van vers bereide lokale maaltijden aan boord terwijl u ontspant in de natuur. Dag 6: Alleppey – Kovalam (160 km / 4,5 uur) Na het ontbijt gaat u van boord van de woonboot en gaat u verder naar Kovalam, de beroemde strandbestemming van Kerala. Check in op uw resort en breng de rest van de dag ontspannen door aan de Arabische Zee. Maaltijden : Ontbijt
Dag 7: Kovalam & Trivandrum bezienswaardigheden Geniet van een ontspannen ochtend op Kovalam Beach. Bezoek later Trivandrum attracties, waaronder Padmanabhaswamy Tempel, Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery en lokale markten. Maaltijden : Ontbijt
Dag 8: Kovalam – Trivandrum Vertrek Na het ontbijt, check out van het hotel en transfer naar Trivandrum International Airport voor uw verdere reis. Vertrek met onvergetelijke herinneringen aan de backwaters, stranden, wilde dieren en bergstations van Kerala. Maaltijden : Ontbijt

Ricky picked us up directly from our hotel and brought us to the Taj Mahal. We didn’t have to wait anywhere, he arranged the tickets and everything went smoothly. He also helped me finding somebody to put on the Sari I rented at my hotel which was very kind. Ricky is also an amazing photographer! So don’t book any professional photographers, he will do the same!!! Every picture was on point! He was very helpful and explained everything we wanted to know. If you want to visit these sights, Ricky is the best man to do the job!

Raj helped us plan our 8 day trip when we arrived to Delhi. Providing local knowledge which was priceless. Seeing New and Old Delhi, Jaipur, and an amazing safari and stay in Ranthambore National Park. Then on to Agra for the Taj Mahal at sunrise and finally spending a couple of days in Varanasi with a morning boat trip down the Ganges before flying back to Delhi. Nawal was our driver and guide for the trip. His knowledge and experience was fantastic and he was always able to provide us with local knowledge and give food recommendations. We cannot thank him enough for safely taking us around during our time in India.
I had an incredible private guided tour of Agra, and I can’t recommend it enough! My guide, Azeem, was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing a wealth of information about the Mughal Empire, its rich history, art, religion, and culture. We began with the majestic Agra Fort, where Azeem brought the history to life with captivating stories about its architecture and the lives of the emperors who once ruled from there. The attention to detail and the passion with which he shared the historical significance made it a truly immersive experience. The highlight, of course, was the Taj Mahal. No words can truly do justice to this masterpiece, but having an expert guide to explain its historical and cultural importance elevated the visit to a whole new level. I gained a deeper appreciation of its beauty, craftsmanship, and the love story behind it. We also visited a place where they introduced me to marble inlay art work, that's unique to Agra. To round off the day, we explored Agra’s vibrant local markets, where I learned a lot about the locals' life and tried delicious street food. As a solo female traveler, I always felt comfortable. This tour was more than just sightseeing; it was a journey through time, art, and culture. Azeem’s expertise, professionalism, and humor made it truly special. Everything was fine. We were picked from our hotel and guide take care about our group. After visiting Taj Mahal we had time to eat breakfast in hotel and get little nap. Futhermore we leave hotel and went to Agra Fort.
Dinesh drove us from New Delhi to Agra and it was a spectacular ride. He was great company and his car was very clean and big. Highly recommend working with Dinesh! He made the experience so much better!!
Kamal was very friendly and very safe driver. The booking in New King@Backpackers Heaven was not as expected. We booked sunrise and were late for that because the guy in the hotel said wrong start time. Kamal tried to fix and we saw the sunrise somewhere else, still nice but not as settled. The price is to high for this trip!
