Ons avontuur begint op de Halifax promenade. Hier beginnen we met de vier belangrijkste historische bevolkingsgroepen die betrokken zijn bij de geschiedenis van Halifax.
Point Pleasant Park is de grootste groene ruimte op Peninsular Halifax en Haligonians meest geliefd. Dit park is een must see in Halifax. Hier maken we 3 stops in het park en fietsen we over de zeewering.
Hier krijgt iedereen de kans om zijn fietsen te stallen en wat vrije tijd te krijgen om deze prachtige Victoriaanse tuin te verkennen.
Tijdens deze tour fietsen we de omtrek van de Citadel, leren we over de geschiedenis en ontdekken we ook de omstandigheden rond de Halifax-explosie. Ons vertrek van 10.00 uur is inclusief het middagkanon en de wisseling van de wacht.
De Halifax Central Library wordt beschouwd als een van de mooiste bibliotheken ter wereld! Tijdens deze tour zullen we er meer over leren en hebben we tijd om het groene dak aan de bovenkant te bezoeken.
Na het fietsen door Halifax's enige voetgangersstraat en de thuisbasis van ons nachtleven (Argyle Street), stoppen we bij Grand Parade om de geschiedenis en cultuur die we tijdens de tour hebben ervaren samen te brengen voordat we teruggaan naar onze winkel aan het water.

A relaxing cycle round Halifax with interesting & informative tour. Would recommend as a good 3hr guide of the city.
Really enjoyed seeing all of Halifax with our guide, Gift. We learned a little about the city and its history. The parks, the citadel, the ride were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

We would strongly recommend you be comfortable riding an e-bike. Wear comfortable loose clothing and good running shoes. The operator should give the client a choice of what kind of e-bike they want. We would also recommend that the tour guide offer opportunities to take pictures at the various stops. Another suggestion is to offer the person a chance to dip your toes into the ocean at Point Pleasant. All in all it was a great and fun bike tour!

Tour was fun, beautiful & informative. The bikes are easy to ride and don't take long to get the hang of if you haven't ridden one before.

We very much enjoyed our ride through Halifax. Our guide safely guided the group of 6 riders on a couple of short road sections. Most of the ride was either on park gravel paths or bike lanes. We made all the planned stops including a timely arrival at the Citadel for the noon cannon shot and changing of the guards.

My husband and i love doing bike tours when available at our destinations. Its the best way to see parts of a city or town that you wouldn't normally know about, or to go and check out. Our tour guide was amazing (I want to say her name was Rebecca... but can't truly recall!!!), and so knowledgeable of Halifax facts! She definitely left us with great information while having a fun time and getting a little exercise! Don't hesitate with this one! Its worth every penny! The best was the earpiece everyone was given, connected to the guide at the front! We were given information while we rode, and it was a brilliant way to hear about all of the places we were riding by.

Our guide for this beautiful excursion was Raunaq. Throughout the journey, he didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile, whether it was to recommend restaurants, point out highlights along our route to Peggy’s Cove, or take pictures for us. His outgoing personality and warm welcome made the experience that much better and make it clear that he enjoys what he’s doing.

Our e-bike tour with Andrew was a terrific way to see and get to know Halifax . Toured green spaces that we likely would never had found on our own . E-bike made getting around efficient . Headsets provided information while biking , which allowed for more biking and less stopping for explanations . Information was nice mix of history and personal anecdotes . Highly recommend this tour and Andrew as guide .
