Deze beschermde baai, met zijn zachte zandbodem, herbergt een spectaculair koraalrif waar je oog in oog komt te staan met fascinerende wezens, van sierlijke engelvissen tot ongrijpbare murenen. Het is een paradijs voor onderwaterfotografen, vooral voor degenen die graag de ingewikkelde details van het macroleven vastleggen. Je reis gaat verder naar het nabijgelegen Tanjung Jepun, een ander spectaculair juweel in Amuk Bay. Hier ontvouwt het onderwaterlandschap zich tot een adembenemend tableau van kleurrijke koralen en wemelend vissenleven. Blue Lagoon-strand is een van de beste afgelegen stranden van Oost-Bali. Het ligt in de buurt van het belangrijkste strand van Padang Bai en de plaatselijke haven. Het prachtige strand dat wordt omlijst door groene en rotsachtige heuvels met veel palmbomen. Het witte zandstrand is de beste plek geworden om te ontspannen en te snorkelen. De baai is het hele jaar door grotendeels kalm en wordt een leuke plek om te relaxen en te zwemmen. Tijdens deze tour ga je op twee plekken snorkelen. Het zijn Blue Lagoon en Tanjung Jepun, nog steeds in hetzelfde gebied, maar ze hebben hun eigen karakteristiek. Om de snorkelplekken te bereiken, gebruikt u traditionele Jukung die wordt bestuurd door de lokale bevolking en hij brengt u naar de beste plek om te snorkelen. Tijdens het snorkelen heb je misschien de kans om de grote Napoleon-lipvis, rifhaai, steenvissen, murenen en blauwe lintalen, naaktslakken, roggen, inktvissen en octopussen, gigantische kikkervissen, inktvissen, clownvissen en anderen te zien.

The guide was great and acknowledged the problem with trash at the snorkeling sites. We had to remind the staff about the life jackets. It was a long drive from our hotel to the site and the driver was very slow. There were no shower facilities and the toilets were public. The effects of global warming on the coral are obvious and the amount of trash in the water was sad.

Like you, we find the amount of trash and the visible effects of global warming on the coral deeply saddening. We are currently exploring partnerships with local ocean conservation initiatives to see how we can actively fight this problem, rather than just acknowledge it. We also hear your feedback loud and clear regarding our operations. Having to remind our staff about life jackets is unacceptable, and we have immediately reinforced our safety procedures with the team to ensure this doesn't happen again. We also apologize for the frustration regarding the slow drive and the public toilets/showers. Because this site is a protected area, the facilities are managed by the local council and are out of our control, but we will do a better job of setting these expectations upfront. Thank you for caring about our oceans and for helping us hold ourselves to a higher standard.
Great snorkelling experience suitable for the whole family. The guides were welcoming and very helpful. We saw beautiful coral and tropical fish.

We had a wonderful day being driven to Blue Lagoon for snorkeling with the sea turtles, array of colourful fish and sting rays!! Totally recommend this adventure. All the guys are super friendly and kind. We felt very safe and well looked after. Thank you🙏

What an excellent day out 🙏 The snorkeling was amazing, we saw so many different types and colours of fish. The food was delicious and a very large portion. Our driver Gatra was the best driver we've had in the 2 and a half weeks that we've been here. He was so polite and friendly. We showed each other photos of our children and grandchildren and had a right laugh before we all shared a meal together. Hopefully you get Gatra when you book this unforgettable day out

What an unbelievable day out. Snorkeling was amazing, so many different species of colourful fish. Food was delicious and all the staff were very friendly.
