Als u natuurliefhebbers bent en graag nieuwe gebieden ontdekt, is dit de beste optie voor u !! Tijdens deze volledige dagtour verken je verschillende gebieden, het eerste gebied met veel geschiedenis waar onze gids het middeleeuwse en joodse erfgoed van Besalú zal uitleggen en een tweede deel van de dag om te genieten van de natuur van het natuurpark van La Garrotxa, in de pre-Pyreneeën met meer dan 40 vulkanen, geen van hen al duizenden jaren actief. Je zult het met je eigen ogen bewijzen door een bezoek te brengen aan een middeleeuwse hermitage in het midden van de krater van een van hen. Ook bezoekt u Castellfollit de la Roca om wat foto's te maken van de Basaltische klif en Santa Pau, een klein dorpje omringd door vulkanen. Om deze geweldige dag af te sluiten, heeft u de mogelijkheid om een wandeling te maken of om te zeilen bij het meer van Banyoles, het grootste meer in Catalonië. We zullen ongeveer 5 / 5.30 uur terugkomen naar Girona, afhankelijk van het verkeer.

Je hebt een begeleide wandeling naar de middeleeuwse en joodse wijken van Besalu. Ook ontdekt u een van de mooiste middeleeuwse bruggen van Spanje.
We stoppen slechts een paar minuten om wat foto's te maken naar de huizen op de top van deze verbazingwekkende Basaltische klif.
Je zult een begeleide wandeling maken om de Santa Margarida-kerk te bereiken die zich binnen de krater van de Santa Margarida-vulkaan bevindt.
Je hebt tijd om te lunchen in het restaurant Can Xel om de specialiteiten van dit gebied te proeven.
Santa Pau is een klein middeleeuws dorp in het midden van de vulkanen. U zult een wandeltocht maken om de oude wijk, de kerk en het kasteel te bezoeken.
Tijd om te wandelen langs het meer van Banyoles, het grootste meer van Catalonië, maar als u liever niet wandelt, kunt u zeilen met de ecologische boot La Tirona. Tickets niet inbegrepen!

Excellent trip, Andres is a knowledgeable and friendly guide, small group so easy to adjust tour for personal preferences. Easy way to access countryside from the city.
This was a wonderful tour. Pau was our guide and he was so informative and enthusiastic about the history of the area. He also magically arranged for the thunderstorm to occur AFTER our hike up the volcano. We also had a meal which was authentic and amazing. The staff at Girona Experience replied to my solo request immediately and worked with me to find a tour for me last minute. Very professional and delightful folks to work with.
Awesome. Especially the volcano. The guide was super nice. The meal was good. And the bridge of the first city was magnificent.
We loved this tour! Andres was fantastic. We spent the entire day with Andres driving around to several beautiful towns, a volcano and a lake. We had a very spacious and comfortable van, stopped at an amazing restaurant for lunch and hiked the volcano. We all loved the experience. Thank you!

We did not book as a private tour, but the two of us were the only ones booked and they went ahead with the tour. Our guide, Pau, was very good. He conveyed so much history about the places we visited and answered all our questions. He has excellent command of the English language in addition to the history and geography of the area. Best of all, we learned about local traditions, such as parades for Epiphany (when the Wise Men come to visit on January 6).
Nice city beautiful old buildings and nice shops
Pau was a warm and extremely knowledgeable guide. The volcano and villages we visited were beautiful and very interesting- it's a worthwhile trip out of Girona.
Of course, one had to have a nice weather ro enjoy completely this trip. That one was checked. Another very important element is a guide (and the driver). Ours was Pau and he made our day really memorable. Knowledgable, informative, helpful, we enjoyed his comentaries and guidanance. Our trip took place out of the high season. Positive things were no tourist crowds, moderate temperature, autumn feel in the nature. Besalu, Castle on the Rock,volcano, Santa Pau, Banyoles may be condensed to have in one go but otherwise you will miss one or more of them. Anyhow , this is to have a taste of those places ans you can decide to return to some of them one day for a longer exploration. Recommendes lunch place was great, food even offered as a menu was excellent and greatly priced. Definitelly recommended tour Nd knce again thank you Pau.
Claudia was an excellent guide. She drove the van and gave a commentary on both English and Spanish. The visits to the small towns were lovely, and the restaurant meal was excellent. Highly recommended!
