We nemen je mee naar de helling van de berg Agung om een van de grootste tempels op Bali te zien, de Besakih-tempel. Deze tempel heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de tempel met de vulkaan Mount Agung. Voordat we de Besakih-tempel bezoeken, nemen we je mee naar het dorp Pengipuran. Een wandeling naar de verborgen waterval van Tukad Cepung maakt je dag vol ervaringen.

Het dorp Penglipuran ligt in het district Bangli en heeft 1.112 inwoners. Het dorp Penglipuran is het schoonste dorp van Indonesië. Volgens de regels in dit dorp is het niet toegestaan om met de auto of motor het dorp binnen te rijden.
Ten noorden van het dorp Penglipuran zien we een prachtig bamboebos. Bamboebomen worden gebruikt om bamboehuizen, ceremoniële gereedschappen en ambachten te maken.
Het is de op een na grootste tempel op Bali en werd gebouwd in de 13e eeuw. Met eeuwenoude banyanboom. Vergeleken met andere tempels op Bali is Pura Kehen nog steeds rustig.
De Besakih-tempel is de grootste tempel van Bali. Deze tempel heeft een aantal tempels in hetzelfde gebied. De schoonheid van de Besakih-tempel met de berg Agung is een must om te bezoeken. De Besakih-tempel is gebouwd door de hoogste priester genaamd Markandya. Onze chauffeur / gids staat aan uw zijde om u te helpen de hele kant van deze tempel te verkennen die zich op de helling van de Agung-vulkaan bevindt

We had a wonderful day with Ketut. He is so friendly and knowledgeable and works hard to ensure his guests have a safe and fun time. The tour includes a good variety of different sites so you get a good feel for the culture. We especially loved the traditional village visit. The car is clean and comfortable and the food at the lunch stop is very nice. Highly recommended activity.
From start to finish I would highly recommend this tour. Ketut was extremly knowledgeable and helped me with the photos. The lunch buffet was excellent with a panoramic view of the mountain and rice terraces. The village and temples brillant and the waterfall was very beautiful. Thank you Ketut for a great day.
We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring East Bali with our driver, Ketut. From the moment he picked us up, he was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire tour. He drove safely, shared interesting information about Balinese culture, and never rushed us at any of the stops. Our itinerary included Penglipuran Village, the beautiful Bamboo Forest, Kehen Temple, Besakih Temple, and Tukad Cepung Waterfall. On top of that, Ketut also took us to Goa Raja Waterfall, which ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Bali trip. It was absolutely stunning, peaceful, and far less crowded than we expected. Every stop was unique and gave us a great insight into Bali's culture, history, and natural beauty. Ketut was also happy to take photos for us and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each location. If you're looking for a full-day tour that combines incredible temples, beautiful scenery, and hidden waterfalls with an outstanding local driver, we couldn't recommend this tour and Ketut highly enough. Thank you for helping make our Bali holiday so memorable!
This was the most peaceful day of experiencing the TRUE balinese culture. Not the hyped up tourist version, but actual balinese way of living. Our driver Ketut was so knowledgeable of the areas we visited. He was attentive, guiding us through the temples and explaining what everything meant. It was a day of variety...temples, bamboo forest, waterfall swim, lunch overlooking rice paddy fields and Mt Agung. Highly highly recommend. We would absolutely book with Ketut again.
Ketut was my guide and he was absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable in the history of Bali and was so lovely to have as a guide. Made me feel safe and comfortable as a female solo traveler. Would definitely recommend! Tour was also amazing and we saw some beautiful places.
This was a great tour. The temples we visited were beautiful and Ketut provides lots of context for everything we were seeing. I learned so much for about Bali’s custom and culture than I ever could have without a guide. I highly recommend this tour.
A truly wonderful experience. Ketut was a wonderful guide. As a solo, budget-conscious traveler, I was hesitant to pay for a private guide, but I am very glad that I did. I learned so much from Ketut throughout the day both at the temples we visited and also while we drove through the country side. It was a much more enriching experience than merely renting a scooter and walking around temples on my own would have been. The lunch location has an amazing view and the waterfall we visited was lovely. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about Bali.
My favorite day in Bali so far! 🌴 This was a really great tour. It was sort of a choose your own adventure situation with the major highlights being exploring the Besakih temple (my now favorite in Bali) and nearby villages. The place we stopped for lunch was also really tasty and the view was spectacular. Everyone at home was jealous 😂😅 I was traveling by myself as a single woman and so I’m picky about my guides. I would choose Agung to be my guide again if I ever came back! He’s really easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the culture. He also answered all of my questions (probably totaling no less than 300 over the course of the day) which I majorly appreciated 😊 so if you’re reading this THANK YOU 🐒🌴🇮🇩
