Een dynamische en meeslepende ervaring die de door oorlog verscheurde geschiedenis van Berlijn combineert met zijn rijke biertraditie. Wandel langs iconische WOII-locaties en ontspan vervolgens met Duitse bierproeverijen in Berlijnse pubs op locaties die gebonden zijn aan het verleden van de stad. Wandel door de straten waar de Tweede Wereldoorlog zich ontvouwde, oorlogen werden uitgevochten en muren neervielen – en proost vervolgens op alles met de beste brouwsels van Berlijn. Dit is geen droge preek. Het is de geschiedenis van Berlijn, zoals het werd beleefd: intens, emotioneel en altijd beter met een drankje. Van het verzet van de nazi's tot de Tweede Wereldoorlog, we zullen het donkerste hoofdstuk van de stad volgen en vervolgens het glas heffen in dezelfde pubs waar Berlijners ooit planden, rouwden en in opstand kwamen. Dit is geen typische wandeltocht. Het is een rauwe, meeslepende, verhaalgedreven reis door het hart van de 20e-eeuwse geschiedenis, geleid door de meest gepassioneerde historici van Berlijn. Had a near perfect tour with Cairan. The only small glitch was a little rain, which was force majeure and we could hide from in a beer hall. The tour itself was a brilliant mix of history lessons on the battle for Berlin, the Cold War and beer. A very nice surprise was the amount of German beer history. Cairan was incredibly knowledgeable about all the subjects and and an allround very nice guy to chat with.

Incredible experience, high level of detail, selected different and interesting beers. Our guide was perfect! A beautiful way to discover Berlin differently.
First of all, a big thank you to Ciaran and this whole company. After missing a connection on my way to Berlin, I had to miss my originally scheduled tour on Monday....they could have cancelled but instead went out of their way to reschedule me on the tour for Thursday instead. They didn't have to do that and it was very much appreciated. :). The tour itself was great. One of the most informative tours I have ever taken and the local beers were delicious too. If you have an interest in Berlin's history through World War II, the Cold War and Berlin Wall... this is definitely the tour to be taking.
We had a great time! A lot of very interesting sites, history, stories and information about the battle of Berlin to go along with just as much information about Berlin and beer. The whole tour took a bit over 3 hours but it felt shorter with many interesting conversations surrounding Berlin, beer, battlefields and other subjects. Cairan was our guide, he was great! We would absolutely recommend this for anyone interested in beer and battlefield stories! It was well worth it!
Cairan very knowledgeable great explanation and tour added benefit Paul. My only negative comment is the tour tells you it ends at the start destination which it doesn't so that just needs updating Highly recommend booking this early in your trip for good places to also eat and drink RIP George
Fascinating few hours with Ciaran who was incredibly knowledgeable of the city's history, really bringing the Battle of Berlin to life in the stories told... whilst also highlighting hidden features in the buildings and landmarks that you could easily miss. He's also a great host who knows his beer and made the tour both fun and fascinating in equal measure. Highly recommended.

Despite it being a cold afternoon, Ciaran held our attention for the whole of the tour due to his knowledge, professionalism and affability. How he remembered the dates and events of WW2 was very impressive and we would not hesitate to recommend!. He was that good we were thinking of booking again the next day!. Combining two things that I love, history and beer, makes this an easy recommendation. Given the tour guide’s encyclopedic knowledge of both makes this a must book. The only thing that could have made this experience better was an additional 3, maybe 4 hours to enjoy more German beer while learning about the fascinating history of Berlin

A fantastic tour. Ciaran was a wonderful guide: incredibly enthusiastic and amazingly knowledgeable about Berlin's unique stories--from beer to the Battle of Berlin. This was one of the best tours I've done in my travels, and Ciaran made it a total blast. If you want to walk literally in the footsteps of the end of the Third Reich, feel history come alive, and drink some great beers, this is your tour.
