Bergen: proeverij en excursie van lokale gerechten met uitzicht op de stad vanaf de top

Dompel je tijdens deze stadswandeling onder in de historische sfeer van het middeleeuwse Bergen en geniet vanaf de top van de stadsberg van het waanzinnige uitzicht op de Noordzee en het eilandenrijk. Deze privétour is een combinatie van 2 uur wandelen met de kabelbaan en 1 uur gastronomische tour. U zult genieten van zowel de geschiedenis als de tradities van de Noorse keuken.

De gids zal u ontmoeten in het hotel of op een manier die meer geschikt is voor de cliënt. Je ziet het middeleeuwse deel van Bergen, waaronder het vestingwerk van de Bergenhus uit de 13e eeuw.
U passeert te voet de 13e-eeuwse King Håkon`s Hall (de oudste stenen koninklijke residentie in het land) en de Rozenkrantz-toren.
U gaat verder van het fort Bergenhus naar het Hanzebureau Bryggen, dat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO stond in 1969. Smalle doorgangen van het kantoor behielden de geest van het middeleeuwse handelscentrum dat in het midden van de 14e eeuw werd opgericht.
Met je gids passeer je de beroemde vismarkt van Bergen, die de eerste officiële groothandelsmarkt in Noorwegen werd voor de productie van zeevoedsel.
Via het voetgangersplein Torgalmeningen komt u in het stadspark met muziekpaviljoen en feestelijk plein (het startpunt voor alle parades in de stad). Je passeert het gebied met Grieg Hall en stadsmeer met de fontein in het midden.
1 uur gastronomische (eten proeven) tour en 1 uur wandelen, een deel van je tour eindigt bij het dalstation van Floibanen - de kabelbaan van de stad. Met de kabelbaan kom je bij het uitkijkpunt op de top van de berg Floien. Na 30 minuten vrije tijd op het uitkijkpunt keert u terug naar het dalstation. Minibus of minibus met chauffeur zal u ontmoeten bij het verlaten van de kabelbaan. Dit is het einde van je rondreis. Tour kan op verzoek van de klant op een andere plaats worden beëindigd. (Houd er rekening mee dat tijdens de toestroom van toeristen de wachttijd bij de kabelbaan langer kan zijn dan 30 minuten).

My wife and I took the local food and funicular tour in Bergen with tour guide Olaf. Our experience was excellent. As I have mobility and balance issues, Olaf was very helpful holding my arm throughout the tour. One tip - in preparation for the lunch at the fish market, I recommend you eat a very light breakfast or skip breakfast all together. The lunch was excellent and very large

Tour was excellent. Our friends have visited Bergen and recommended us food tasting Tour suggested by Vinoltours. Tour program is logical. Firstly walking Tour in Old quarters of the city. The second part return Funicular trip, at the end food tasting program. The main part of food tasting was suggested at the Fish Market. Creamed Norwegian fish soup, pieces of 5 types of local goat cheese, pieces of smoked salmon and salami from game meat and delicious dessert with apple pie. Excellent program and knowledgedebl guide!

We have booked a private tour. We have chosen Vinol Tours agency. My wife prefer tours with food tasting in every new country when we are traveling . One of tours that includes local food tasting was on the list of Vinol Tours. 3 hour tour offers walking tour in the medieval parts of Bergen, return Funicular trip to the top of the city mountain and local food tasting in restaurant. Amazing views of the sea and islands along the shore line stored now in our camera. Food tasting in reality was 3 course lunch (more than we expected): fish soup, different types of smoked salmon, cured meat, and delicious dessert! We ordered this tour, because of the maximum information that you can get from walking tour in Bergen. Just walking tour without Floibanen trip in Bergen, this is not enough to become familiar with this historical city of Bergen. Old quarters of Bergen gave us enough information to understand why Norwegian kings decided to move their capital from Trondheim at the North to Bergen Fjord area. Great location. Big bonus if this is sunny day and you can enjoy panoramic views of medieval city from the top of Floien that is the most popular mountain in Bergen with the lookout place at the summit. That was good that our guide brought prebooked funicular tickets, We escaped long waiting time with people buying funicular tickets. My recommendation is always to add funicular return trip to your walking or sightseeing tour in Bergen.
