Bekend als de "Whisky" -route, is de Machame-route nu de meest populaire route op de berg. In vergelijking met Marangu zijn de dagen op Machame langer en zijn de wandelingen steiler. De Machame-route wordt als een moeilijke route beschouwd en is beter geschikt voor meer avontuurlijke mensen en mensen met wat wandel- of backpackervaring. De route begint vanuit het zuiden, gaat vervolgens naar het oosten en gaat onder het zuidelijke ijsveld van Kilimanjaro door alvorens te toppen. ⭐ 1 Star Review I strongly do not recommend this company. Our group of 25 climbers booked a Mount Kilimanjaro expedition via the Marangu Route with this company. During the trip, five members of our group had money and valuable personal belongings stolen. We reported these incidents to the police and filed official complaints, but unfortunately nothing was resolved. The company did not provide an adequate response or take responsibility for what happened. Safety and trust are essential when choosing a company for a Mount Kilimanjaro climb. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing, and several members of our group suffered financial losses as a result of these incidents. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone planning to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. I hope the company improves its security measures and customer support in the future.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience! The guides were exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They created a welcoming atmosphere, explained everything clearly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the entire experience. The food was very good, with great variety. The organization was flawless from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly and easy. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well-organized, enjoyable, and memorable experience. I hiked Kilimanjaro through Marangu Route with Enjoy Kili. The team was really good, friendly, and professional, always with a smile on their face. Their flexibility allowed us to even finish the trip in 4 days (I wanted to finish a day earlier). David was the main POC, offering prompt assistance during the booking and arrival. Dullah was my tour guide, he was really supportive and sending positive energy. The rest of the team, including the waitress, chef, and porters, were amazing people, and I'm happy to have hiked with them.
