Kijk live Kun-Khmer kickboksen in het TV-Stadion met de ringside zitplaatsen. Er zijn vijf lokale en internationale gevechten met een lengte van twee uur. Donderdag, vrijdag, zaterdag en zondagavond. Laat je ophalen bij je accommodatie en kom ruim op tijd bij het stadion aan voordat het boksen begint. Ga aan de ringkant zitten en maak deel uit van de elektrische sfeer die wordt gegenereerd door zowel lokale als internationale gevechten op de kaart voor de nacht. Khmer of Pradal Serey is een stijl van kickboksen afkomstig uit Cambodja. Het dateert uit de 9e eeuw en werd geleerd aan Angkor Krijgers om Angkor Wat te verdedigen. Het is een vrije vechtstijl bestaande uit stand-up strikes en clinches. Er zijn min soorten slagen; stoten, trappen, elleboog en knie slagen. De clinch wordt gebruikt om de tegenstander te slijten. De clinch tegenstanders gebruiken korte afstand trappen en elleboog om te domineren. Cambodjaanse vechters hebben de neiging om meer elleboogslagen te gebruiken dan andere vechtsporten, met meer overwinningen afkomstig van elleboogslagen dan welke andere slag dan ook.

Zorg dat je een uur voor aanvang van het boksen wordt opgehaald en begeleid naar de ringstoel door de beveiligers om te genieten van het twee uur durende evenement. Bier en water zal binnen worden verstrekt door de reisleider, maar als je je eigen snacks meeneemt zou fantastischer zijn.

A great way to visit a relatively untrodden corner of Khmer culture. Entry to the boxing was actually free (the venue was a TV studio) but well worth the dollars for the transport, information and free beers.

Mr. Sop was an amazing guide for this experience. It was my first time watching a kickboxing fight and we got told the history and significance aswell as front row seats. If i had more time in Phnom Penh i would definitely do this again.

What an incredible evening with Mr. Sop. This experience is worth much more than the ticket price. Mr. Sop provided hotel pick- up and drop-off, is a great guide, funny, and informative. Not only did we sit ringside with Mr. Sop, but he took us in the ring to meet the fighters! Only he has this access! We truly felt like VIPs. If you’re visiting Phnom Penh, you must schedule Kun Khmer Kickboxing with Mr. Sop! Don’t miss out!
This was a brilliant evening out. Mr Sop picked us up from our hotel, talked to us about the history of kickboxing (and lots of other things) on the way and we had ringside seats for 5 excellent bouts. There was plenty of beer and an opportunity for a photo with one of the local stars. It was incredible to be so close to the action, all screened live for the local fans.
My 19y son and I had an incredible experience watching Kun Khmer ringside with Mr Sop. He is a an amazing host - he picked us up from our hotel and we had drinks and snacks ringside for all the action. Meet the fighters for pictures and learn about the history of Khu Khmer. A must see, and Mr Sop is the only one with this access! Thank you Sophoarn for providing and unforgettable experience.

Fun kick boxing experience with M. Sop. Best seats near the boxers entrance and exits.. MR Sop explained the fights, the boxers profile.. always therebif you have questions. He asked the boxers to have a picture with us.. We reallllly Had a good time. Thank you Mr Sop Nadia & Stéphane 🇨🇦
Surprisingly tourist friendly. This is an absolute must on your trip. The fighting is in a genuine league and is televised. We felt very safe, had prime seating, toilets were easily accessible and beers served from an Esky. Our driver Vanna was great with hotel pickup drop off in a tuk tuk but there is also a modern van which you may be able to request. Overall, a fantastic, value for money experience
We had a brilliant evening with Mr Sop. He made the evening memorable with giving us the opportunity to meet the fighters. He took care of us with drinks all night.
