Zo zult u gecharmeerd zijn door de schoonheid van zijn paleizen zoals het Bahia-paleis ... verrast door de grootte van de Koutoubia-moskee, gevleid door de magie van het Jemaa Lafna-plein en zijn folklore, gefascineerd door het tumult van de soeks van de Medina en zijn ambachtslieden

de Koutoubia-moskee werd in de 12e eeuw gebouwd door de Almohaden-dynastie. Vandaag de dag, met een hoogte van 70 meter, blijft de minaret het hoogste bouwwerk en de Koutoubia-moskee de grootste moskee in Marrakech. Bezoek vanaf de buitenkant van de moskee. Stopt voor foto's
De Mellah in Marrakech verwijst naar het gebied waar Joden woonden. Door in hun eigen aparte wijk te wonen, werden ze beschermd in de Kasbah-muren, je gids zal een pauze voorstellen met een Berber-kruidkundige Stopt voor foto's.

Deze wandeltocht van 3 tot 4 uur begint wanneer je officiële gids je ophaalt bij de Riad. We zullen onze weg banen naar de souks - de traditionele marktplaatsen in de medina van Marrakech. We bezoeken de verschillende ambachtelijke districten zoals leerlooiers, timmerlieden, ververs, de smederij en reizen door de place des épices. We have just returned from a perfect morning with Rashid. It was relaxed and he showed us everything we wanted to see and more! We learned alot along the way. Rashid was very happy to answer all our questions. We were never put into position where we were obliged to purchase anything in the souks and in fact he helped us to buy the things we did want, including my deoderant that I forgot to pack!! 🤣 Thank you Rashid, you helped us create a great memory of our first day in Marrakech.
Mohsin was a fantastic guide. He grew up in the Medina, and his knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing it with visitors made for a better than usual guided tour. He gave us a crash course on Moroccan history and an explanation of Islam so that we had a better understanding of the culture and a context of what we were seeing in Marrakech. I highly recommend asking for Mohsin if you book this tour.
Absolutely brilliant tour and our guide was so informative. Loved it. You will be walking about 12,000 steps so proper footwear will be required.
This was the very first tour in Morocco for my husband and me, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was a private tour! Mouhssine met us right on time at the Koutoubia Mosque. We had a wonderful time exploring the medina and souks with him. We truly appreciated his extensive knowledge and the way he introduced us to the local history. Our only disappointment was missing the Bahia Palace, as it closed early for Ramadan, but everything else was perfect. Mouhssine even recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner and personally coordinated with the staff to secure us a rooftop reservation. The food was delicious! We highly recommend this tour!

Mouhssine was AMAZING!!!! My friend and I (both 21 years old from USA) had such an amazing time with him. He showed us all the sights and catered it to what we wanted to see. He taught us so much history and also about cultural life in Morocco. He ended up taking us out to lunch after the tour!!
This was a wonderful way to get orientated to Marrakech. Mouhssine is so friendly and knowledgeable and took great care of us. He even helped us get money from a bank as we had none and the ATM’s weren’t working for us. He is a lovely person who shared much of his life and also history of the places we visited
