Gobustan is een fascinerend staatsreservaat, ongeveer 64 km verwijderd van het centrum van Bakoe. De plaats is opgenomen op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Je bezoekt hier het Gobustan 3D Interactive Museum en het Gobustan Outdoor Museum (rotstekeningen)
Azerbeidzjan heeft de meeste moddervulkanen van welk land dan ook, breed verspreid over het hele land. 350 van de 700 vulkanen ter wereld bevinden zich in de Republiek Azerbeidzjan.
In 1846 werd onder toezicht van staatsadviseur V.N. Semyonov, een ingenieur Alekseev, boorde in Bibiheybət een put van 21 meter diep met behulp van een primitief slagboormechanisme om naar olie te zoeken, met positieve resultaten. Meer dan tien jaar later, op 27 augustus 1859, sloeg "kolonel" Edwin L. Drake voor het eerst olie op Amerikaanse bodem.
De Ateshgah van Bakoe, vaak de "Vuurtempel van Bakoe" genoemd, is een kasteelachtige religieuze tempel in de stad Surakhany, een buitenwijk van Bakoe, Azerbeidzjan. Gebaseerd op Perzische en Indiase inscripties, werd de tempel gebruikt als een hindoeïstische, sikh- en zoroastrische plaats van aanbidding.
Yanardagh (Burning Mountain) is een aardgasvuur dat continu brandt op een heuvel op het Absheron-schiereiland aan de Kaspische Zee nabij Baku, de hoofdstad van Azerbeidzjan (een land dat zelf bekend staat als "het Land van Vuur").

We visited Baku from June 6th to 9th, Said did a great job. We are very happy with the airport pick up and drop off service and one day Baku suburb tour which included the Mud volcano， Gobustan rock paiting, Fire temple and Yanardag. The van was in a good condition, the driver and guide were very professional and the cost was reasonable. People enjoyed the time in Baku, really reliable tour company. We would definitely recommend the service!

My travel experience is with Absheron was great. Everything was planned as it was read over to me (hotels, car, tours). I would definitely be travelling with Absheron in future. We spend 8 days in Azerbaijan, our driver & tour guide was Ilqar-Viano from Absheron Travel Agency. He showed us his country: Gabala & Shaki region, Guba region and Gibustan, Absheron & Mud volcanos. We had a tour in Baku as well. His English & Russian is perfect, so we do not had problem with communication. He showed us good restaurants in mamy places. It was a 7 nights package tour of Azerbaijan arranged by Mr. Said Seyidov of Absheron covering Baku, Qabala, Tufandag, Sheki, Quba, Shadag, Gobustan. Itenary was well planned to cover all the places at leisure. Fantastic Hotels with good car and nice driver Mr. Ilqar. Overall experience was five star without any negative to even think about. I whole heartedly recommend Absheron for a very good package tour at a very competitve cost.
Visiting Baku was an incredible experience, but what also made it unforgettable was Sayed- an amazing travel host and guide. He made every location and food we had with him come alive with fascinating details and stories. His warmth, friendlies and knowledge made the whole experience very comfortable. We just completed a week long trip in Azerbaijan which includes travel to various places. Started from Baku city tour of all the famous sightseeing spots then went to Qechresh forest, Afurdzhi Waterfalls (Mastidargah) then we stayed in Quba for two nights. We went to Qusar and further up to Shahdag mountain resort where we enjoyed different activities. They took us to Chanlibel lake and then we back to Baku. Next morning we started our tour to Gabala where we had one night stay and went up to Tufandag mountain resort where we enjoyed cable car and other activities. They took us to Nohur lake.
