Bezoek het mooiste en intrigerende deel van Marokko, het Atlasgebergte, het grootste gebergte van Noord-Afrika. Tijdens deze dagtrip verken je een uniek deel van Marokko, samen met een Berber-gids, die je meeneemt op een levenslange dagtrip naar het Atlasgebergte, waar je ook de mogelijkheid zult hebben om getuige te zijn van de traditionele levensstijl van de lokale bevolking in Berberdorpen .

Het heeft verschillende toppen van meer dan 4.000 m (2,5 mijl), waaronder de hoogste top in Noord-Afrika, Toubkal (4.167 m (13.671 ft)) en verder naar het oosten Ighil m'Goun (4071 m (13.356 ft)), de tweede grote top van de bereik. Aan de Atlantische Oceaan en naar het zuidwesten daalt het bereik abrupt en maakt een overgang naar de kust en het Anti-Atlas bereik. Naar het noorden, richting Marrakech, daalt de bergketen minder abrupt. Op de hoogten van Ouarzazate wordt het massief doorsneden door de Draa-vallei die naar het zuiden opent. Het wordt voornamelijk bewoond door Berbers, die in kleine dorpjes wonen en de hoogvlakten van de Ourika-vallei cultiveren.

We took one day trip from Marrakech to Imlil. Huge thanks to our guide Mohammed Sarkozy who took care of us perfectly. He showed us all the best spots and shared a lot of interesting information about mountains on the way. We felt very safe, we could easily see that he is a very experienced guide. Also a warm and funny person. We recommend the trip and especially the guide if you want to run away from noisy Marrakech!
Great day out. Amazing scenery. Wonderful route through orchards and small farms, seeing how the local Berber people live. Delicious food cooked the authentic way, warmest hospitality.
Awesome day hiking organised last minute by Mustapha at Toubkal Trekking. Our guide Mohammed led us on a 15km hike with 1,000 vertical climbing up a local peak. The Imlil valley is stunning and hiking in the Atlas was the highlight of our trip. Thanks Mustapha and Mohammed! 🙏🏼

The trip was perfect! alot to see and learn with a very fun and considerate guide who was willing to share and answer questions! We had lunch prepared by the guides warming family with beautiful views of the mountain followed by a short hike! perfect day trip to add on from Marrakech!
This trip was such a highlight of our honeymoon through Spain and Morocco. An easy, yet rich experience that we decided upon last minute gave us such a greater perspective of the beauty of Morocco, camels, views, mountains, food and the people. Loved getting out of the city for a day. Would have done longer had we had the time. We hope to be back for more!
Easy way to explore the Atlas Mountains and experience the local culture when we we’re in Morocco. The tour also has nice stops for views and taking pictures.
I had a lovely experience on this tour. Our tour was intimate -- just myself and a lovely couple from France. Our knowledgeable and friendly guide switched easily between French and English as he responded to our questions about the Atlas Mountains and the Berber communities. Our meal in the mountains was incredible and unforgettable. A great tour, a professional guide, and a wonderful value.
My trip to Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains was my first time to the African continent. My favorite experience was being able to learn and breathe the rich culture and history of the Berber villages and Atlas Mountains that Mustapha provided. The opportunity to stop and have dinner with the valley in the background was something you would only imagine in a fairy tale. By far my favorite experience on international travel to this day. Highly recommend booking a culture filled and adventure filled experience with Mustapha.
We had an amazing day trip from marrakesh. Our highlight was walking in the mountains to Mustapha's village and having a delicious hoke cooked lunch on his house's roof. Mustapha was a great host and took time to chat to us and make us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend it
