Beagle Channel-navigatie - Sea Lions Island

In deze navigatie bezoekt u het Sea Lion's Island, Birds' Island en de vuurtoren "Les Eclaireurs". Er zal ook een landing zijn op Bridges Island, voor de interpretatie van de flora, fauna en geschiedenis van de plaats 2 DAGELIJKSE VERTREKKEN Zomerrooster (oktober tot april): 09:30 en 16:00 uur Winterdienstregeling (mei tot september): 10:00 en 15:00 uur DUUR: 2:30 ongeveer. Kinderen onder de 4 jaar: GRATIS.

Het tarief van de toeristendok is niet inbegrepen. Deze navigatie begint bij de lokale haven en verlaat de baai van Ushuaia. Je gaat op een catamaran door het Beaglekanaal en bezoekt op de route "Alicia's Island", waar we een kolonie zeeleeuwen zullen vinden.
Bewoond door koninklijke en keizerlijke aalscholvers
Vanaf het eiland "De los Pájaros" varen we naar het eiland "De los Lobos", waar we exemplaren van zeeleeuwen van één en twee haren kunnen vinden.
Uiteindelijk komen we aan bij de vuurtoren "Les Eclaireurs", die in 1929 werd gebouwd.
Op de terugweg stappen we uit op een van de "Bridges Islands" om een wandeling te maken langs een pad waar de flora en vogels worden geïnterpreteerd, en het verhaal van Yamana (of Yaghan) mensen wordt ook verteld. Het is belangrijk op te merken dat we in dit deel van het eiland de grootste "concheros" van Yamana kunnen vinden. Onderweg ziet u vooral jagers, wenkbrauwalbatrossen, stoomeenden, cauquenes vogels en meeuwen.
Bij onze terugkeer in Ushuaia zullen we verrast worden door de ongelooflijke landschappen van de Martial Mountain.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Volgens de gekozen optie is de pick-up bij het hotel van de passagier. Als de passagiers niet voor de ophaaloptie hebben gekozen, moeten ze zich 45 minuten voor de vertrektijd bij de toeristensteiger melden.

Very nice excursion. Very well explained by the guide. We had the possibility to see whales during the course of the trip. Schedules were fulfilled

A really enjoyable trip into the Beagle Channel with plenty of space on board — the boat wasn’t crammed full at all, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. There were lots of seats and good availability, and even though they had a captive audience the food and drink were very reasonably priced. The route was well chosen, with thoughtful stops on an island, and to see ssea‑lions and the lighthouse, and plenty of time to get our own photos. At the end there was an up‑sell of professional photos, but it wasn’t pushy. The photographers had clearly put real effort into capturing guests with great backgrounds, and the price was fair — we were happy to buy them for the memories. A smooth, good‑value outing and one we’d definitely recommend

Great experience in a comfy boat with cafeteria. Placid waters, postal views, sea lions and a light house. Just relax in a wonderful voyage thru great views and places. You can take pictures in every place of the boat. I liked it!

Lovely experience. Very comfortable catamarans. It's a pretty quiet walk, at least on the dates we made them. We reached the lighthouse of the end of the world and the island of penguins. Beautiful.

Wonderful! It is 3-4 hours navigating the Beagle Canal in different landscapes. It is one of the most iconic tours of Ushuaia.

We took the catamaran to the southernmost lighthouse through the Beagle Channel. We saw catamarans and sea lions. It was OK, but I have to say we were higher up in Patagonian already on a few boat trips and had different experiences than this.
It is a fun experience on a smaller boat and the guides try to make the explanation intimate / small. Which is nice. Trip of 3.5 hours is also sufficient for sailing to the lighthouse and back. Imagine nothing of drinking. Little instant coffee and cocoa. No big deal. Not sure if this is worth 85€ pp. That is up to everyone to judge personally. We thought it was at the price.
Nice navigation. I recommend it. Remember to check the time of your visit to see if you can also combine it with watching penguins - the longer navigation.
