Geniet van een vroege ochtend pick-up van uw hotel of riad in Marrakech en laat de stad achter u terwijl u richting het Atlasgebergte gaat. Het landschap verandert snel van drukke straten naar palmbomen, dorpen en open landschappen, waarbij de bergen langzaam aan de horizon oprijzen.
Vanuit Marrakech naar de prachtige Tahnaout Vallei. Geniet van een korte fotostop met uitzicht op de rustige vallei en de omliggende heuvels. Bewonder vanaf hier de traditionele Berbersdorpen die in het landschap zijn ingebouwd. Geniet van de frisse berglucht en de rustige sfeer van de Atlas uitlopers. Een perfecte eerste stop om uw reis naar het Atlasgebergte te beginnen Na ongeveer 45 minuten onderweg stoppen we voor een lokale ervaring bij een coöperatieve arganolie voor vrouwen, waar je leert over traditionele productiemethoden en geniet van een eenvoudige, authentieke Marokkaanse brunch.
Vervolg de reis door de prachtige Asni Vallei. Geniet van een korte fotostop met uitzicht over de vallei en de omliggende Atlastoppen. Vanaf dit punt kunt u de beroemde Kasbah Tamadot zien, een prachtig luxe toevluchtsoord op de heuvel. De kasbah staat bekend om zijn prachtige tuinen, traditionele Marokkaanse architectuur en een panoramisch uitzicht op de bergen. Aankomst in het mooie dorpje Imlil, de toegangspoort tot de Hoge Atlas. Vanaf hier begint u een aangename wandeling van 2 uur door bergpaden en traditionele landschappen. Onderweg geniet u van uitzicht op kleine watervallen en terrasvormige velden. Uw lokale Gids zal verhalen vertellen over de geschiedenis en cultuur van de Berbers. Een geweldig moment om de rustige levensstijl van de dorpen in het Atlasgebergte te ontdekken.
Na uw korte wandeling komt u aan bij een charmant Berberhuis voor een authentieke lokale ervaring. Ontspan en geniet van de warme, gastvrije sfeer van een traditioneel huis. Visit of Imlil village in the Mountains at the incredible homestay! Thank you Ismail our guide: adorable, passionate, he taught us a lot about his country and culture. Ismail transmits his knowledge and knowledge, he knows his job very well! We were lucky enough to be in a small group during the day which allows us to learn a lot. We ate at Ismail’s aunt in the mountains, the meal was delicious!! You have to walk to admire the view of the mountains which is amazing!! Ismail has a touching story and plans!! Several times in Marrakech but it was our most beautiful activity because it was very authentic!! We wish Ismail inshallah every happiness And thank you Omar the driver!!
This trip and tour was so lovely. Ismail was so kind and thoughtful as he guided us through villages, waterfalls, and a tour of an argan oil women's collective. It was a peaceful and authentic way to get to know the Atlas Mountains and a bit of Berber culture. So thankful I chose to do this with my best friend! (also great deal for your money, so definitely book!)
I recommend 200% this excursion in the Agafay desert. Camel ride, snack in a cooperative of women who make argan oil, among others. And above all, a big thank you to Ismael, wonderful guide and very beautiful person, a well of knowledge about the Atlas, it is very accessible and speaks superb French and English. Ismail and the driver were fantastic! More than being perfect bilingual, Ismail is very intuitive and clear in the explanation. The tour was efficient and they were always smiling and caring.
I really enjoyed this trip. The small group that we were (about 10 people) allowed me to fully enjoy this experience accompanied by Ishmael, an excellent guide, who has perfect command of English and French. The panorama of the Imli Valley is beautiful and the meal was excellent. I fully recommend this immersive outing in the Moroccan province. For the price you will not be disappointed ♡

A wonderful chicken tagine with 7 vegetables, which was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before and couscous that was, if anything, even better!
