Liefhebbers van wijntoerisme zullen het leuk vinden om naar het beroemde plattelandsstadje São Roque te gaan tijdens een wijntour van een hele dag die een fantastisch dagje uit beleeft. Met eersteklas gastronomie en wijnproductie is de stad een referentie die bekend staat als het Land van de Wijn. Leer meer over het wijnbereidingsproces van wijngaarden die populaire wijnhuizen bezoeken en geniet van een fantastische lunch bij de grootste wijnmakerij in de stad. (niet inbegrepen). Begin met een informatieve sightseeing door São Roque met een prachtig landschap. Bezoek vervolgens vier wijnhuizen om meer te weten te komen over de wijnkunst, de lokale geschiedenis en de huidige trends. Maak in elk van hen een proeverij van hun verschillende soorten wijnen, vergezeld van enkele typische producten, zoals kazen en zoetigheden. Je zult zelfs de beroemde cachaça proberen! Na zo'n heerlijke dag te hebben gehad, sluit u af met een presentatie en rondleiding door het productiegedeelte van de wijnmakerij en proeft u vier heerlijke wijnen. Koop allerlei zelfgemaakte producten zoals wijnen, kazen, worstjes, koekjes en jam.

Met de tour naar São Roque, ook wel de stad van de wijn genoemd, proef je de verschillende wijnen die van de ene wijnmakerij naar de andere hoppen tijdens een dagtour. Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je hotel in São Paulo, rijd je een uur naar São Roque om je tour langs de beroemde wijnroute te beginnen. Er zijn meer dan 30 etablissementen langs de route, waaronder wijnmakerijen, restaurants, boerderijen en distilleerderijen. Wanneer we in deze stad aankomen, kunt u een panoramische bezichtiging maken door São Roque voordat u de wijnwereld induikt. We bezoeken 4 tot 5 etablissementen tussen wijnmakerijen en distilleerderijen. In elk van hen zullen we een proeverij maken van hun verschillende soorten wijnen, vergezeld van enkele typische producten, zoals kazen en zoetigheden. Je zult zelfs de beroemde cachaça proberen!
Daarna heb je vrije tijd om te eten in een van de beste wijnhuizen in de stad (niet inbegrepen), waar je heerlijke Italiaanse, Portugese of, natuurlijk, Braziliaanse gerechten kunt proeven. Probeer naast de wijn ook andere typische producten uit de regio, zoals worstjes, kazen, zoetigheden en cachaça, een traditionele Braziliaanse likeur. We had a wonderful Art of Wine tour in São Roque near Sao Paulo, Brazil! Our tour guide, Danilo, was fabulous! I have been on wine tours around the world. This was by far the best! Danilo was engaging and informative. He personally designed the tour, which included three stops and lunch at a local restaurant. At each stop we were warmly welcomed and were treated like royalty. At one stop we individually made caprihinas using cachaca and the lunch of fresh cod with white wine at the restaurant was delicious! Throughout the day, Danilo provided interesting information on each of the wineries, their wines and Brazil. We also shared life experiences and had a great cultural exchange. At the end of the tour, he suggested a restaurant for dinner and even made the reservation for us! Five stars does not seem adequate. This tour is a must if you are in Sao Paulo and be sure to ask for Danilo!

Our guide Monica was amazing! She was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the entire wine region. I was pleasantly surprised that I thoroughly enjoyed the wines of Brazil, which you don't have much access to in the USA. Hendrick was a great guide! He knew so much and was very informative and helpful. We visited a couple wineries and a distillery. So much fun! It was nice that we were picked up from the hotel direct.
Danilo Valisserra was our guide and it was clear that he put thought into the places he chose to show us. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and a sincerely good person whose expertise came through in his explanations and translations. We visited three wineries and a restaurant; each was a good experience in a different way. Plus he's a motorhead, so those discussions were fun too. I highly recommend Mr. Valisserra as a guide for English or Spanish speaking vistors.
