It was amazing! Fantastic! We booked the tour as a family because our daughter is a huge manga and anime fan (though we parents are interested too ;), and she loves everything related to video games. We set aside part of our travel budget specifically for buying merchandise, and our daughter saved up her allowance—and it was more than worth it! Thanks to Masa, we were able to find some really great treasures! We couldn’t stop being amazed! There were also plenty of excellent, well-preserved second-hand items to be found. The prices were moderate to cheap, so the shopping tour works for any travel budget. Masa took an interest in our preferences beforehand so he could tailor the experience to us. And during the tour, Masa went out of his way to show us everything Nipponbashi/Denden Town has to offer. The interaction was very friendly and accommodating—in short: Masa is a truly excellent tour guide, very patient, and designs his tours wonderfully, tailoring them individually to the participants’ wishes! We had a fantastic time! I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in the exploration tours offered! :) Best regards, Jeannette, Felix, and Leila from Upper Austria :)
Masa was a great and friendly guide. I chose the tour of checking out some of Osaka anime shop that had a selection of many things to see that wouldn't be in official stores. Masa was a big help making sure I found what I wanted and was satisfied with my purchase. He also treated me to one of the local snacks that were taiyaki that was absolutely delicious. He also knew how to navigate around Osaka. A great tour guide for searching for anime shops in Osaka.
This is the BEST Osaka tour you can go on if you're looking for a fun guide and the BEST bang for your buck. This was my first time in Japan and it was a little overwhelming to see as much as I could. I am a hardcore anime and video game nerd and Masa knew exactly where to take me for the rarest of items. I got figurines that were made back in the 90's that you can't even find on Ebay!!! And my selections were better than Akihabara in Tokyo!!! It was a rainy day and Masa was sooooo fun and enjoyable to talk with depsite the weather. He had great recommendations for food and I loved all the little snack stops on the tour (gotta keep the energy up when shopping)!! was also able to buy some chef knives that I've been looking for too!! There's nothing like being able to travel like locals do and Masa knows all the best spots. If you tell him ahead of time what your interests are, he'll do his best to find some cool stuff for you. Will DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO everyone traveling to Osaka
We traveled to Osaka with a couple of young Pokemon enthusiasts and Masa did a great job of being flexible and showing us the spots they would like. We especially liked the capsule toy forest, and the kids were so excited to pick up a few harder to find cards. Thank you Masa.
There are many similar stores around this area, so choosing the right select shops is key to saving time. We efficiently visited carefully chosen stores, making the most of our time to find great items. This tour is highly recommended!
Masa’s tour was terrific. He has all the local knowledge and was very kind and understanding to my daughter who has an intellectual disability.
It was also beneficial tour for me to discover new costume store. Thank you so much for choosing my tour!
Masa was an amazing tour guide. He was very kind and was able to accommodate all of our requests very graciously. Thank you very much for an amazing day!
Michelle M. Thank you for choosing my tour! It was a pleasure hosting you. I hope you had a memorable experience. Good luck with the rest of your Japan travels! Best regards, Masa
