We beginnen deze prachtige tour door voor u naar de lobby van uw hotel te gaan. Bereid je camera voor, de wens om plezier te hebben, en doe als geen ander mee aan deze tour.
Altamira is een charmante plaats en een ecologisch park vol plekjes om mooie foto's te maken. Geniet van het maken van ongelooflijke foto's over de hand van een van de houten reuzen, er is er meer dan één! Bovendien hebben ze natuurlijke paden en veel natuur om volop van te genieten.
Onze volgende stop is in Hobbitenango, een ecologisch park geïnspireerd op de film The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit. We zijn er zeker van dat de attracties iets zullen zijn waar u van zult houden. Geniet van de hobbit-achtige huizen, de spellen geïnspireerd door de films, de natuurlijke paden en de meer dan 12 uitzichtpunten, naast het maken van een spectaculaire foto van de hand van de reus die volgens de legende voor het bos zorgt. We zijn er zeker van dat het een tour wordt die je niet mag vergeten!

I have been lucky to meet Rubén Alonso, who is a guide with excellent knowledge of Guatemalan culture, and he also knows the best places to visit, shop, and enjoy, as well as take great photos. Regarding the excursion, I liked it a lot; I think it is ideal for children or nature lovers and hobbits.

Altamira is a must-see attraction. It is a park that features sculptures of hands, birds, and other objects and is located on a hill overlooking the city of Antigua, offering stunning views of the volcanoes and the valley. The park is a social media paradise, with plenty of photo ops and Instagram-worthy spots. You can climb on the hands, pose with the birds, or enjoy the scenery from different angles. The first hand you'll run into is the highest and offers the best view, but it is not for the faint-hearted, as it is very steep and narrow. If you prefer a more comfortable and safe option, there are more hands as you go on, and they are easier to access and still offer great views. The park is bigger than you would think, so plan to be there for some time, and explore all the corners and hidden gems. You'll have to pay and get a ticket before walking into the area, and the price is reasonable for the experience. One thing to note is that there are a LOT of stairs, so be prepared for a workout 💪

The best part of the trip was the transportation. We had a private, very comfortable shuttle to and from Altamira.

We arrived just when the coronavirus problems started and arriving we were attended by Javier the manager an excellent host, he facilitated everything on our arrival and made our stay much more pleasurable as our waiter Marcos who made us feel at home we hope to return soon to that incredible place

Our tour guide, Jennifer, was informational, enthusiastic, and went above and beyond for us! Not only did she teach us and show us so much of Altamira and Hobbitenango she was so generous helping us take pictures, suggesting what to eat, etc. Her passion for tourism was evident from the moment we met her and it made the tour unforgettable.
