Kinderdijk Tour; Een rustige ontsnapping uit Rotterdam Laat de stad achter je en verken een van de meest iconische en traditionele Nederlandse landschappen: Kinderdijk, UNESCO Werelderfgoed. Of u nu vertrekt vanuit Rotterdam Cruise Port, Centraal Station of uw hotel in het centrum van de stad, wij zorgen voor alles vanaf het moment dat uw tour begint. We beginnen de dag met een ontspannen kopje koffie of thee voordat we met de boot naar Kinderdijk gaan. Eenmaal daar heeft u de kans om dit unieke Hollandse polderlandschap te ontdekken op de fiets, of te voet, als u dat wilt. We stappen ook binnen in een van de historische windmolens om het leven te ervaren zoals het ooit was. We houden onze tours persoonlijk en flexibel. Of u nu de tijd wilt nemen of het tempo of de focus van de tour wilt aanpassen, we zijn blij om tegemoet te komen. Geen grote drukte, geen haast; gewoon een memorabel en rustig Nederlands dagje uit.

Voordat we naar Kinderdijk gaan, nemen we even de tijd om je kennis te laten maken met Rotterdam, de bruisende, innovatieve stad waar de tour begint. Afhankelijk van waar je begint (Cruisehaven, Centraal Station of een hotel in het stadscentrum) en de route die we nemen, delen we verhalen en leuke weetjes over de moderne architectuur, maritieme geschiedenis, naoorlogse wederopbouw en verborgen juweeltjes van de stad terwijl we langs belangrijke bezienswaardigheden komen. Het is een perfecte manier om je te oriënteren en te leren wat Rotterdam zo’n unieke plek maakt, allemaal op een ontspannen en boeiende manier.
Kinderdijk, een werelderfgoedlocatie met 19 windmolens uit de 18e eeuw. Naast de windmolens zie je hoe een typisch Nederlands landschap eruit ziet.
Als je vertrekt vanaf Rotterdam Centraal Station, gaan we samen met het openbaar vervoer naar de Erasmusbrug voor een snelle fotostop, en dan gaan we op weg naar Kinderdijk. Rotterdam Centraal Station, een van de drukste plekken in Rotterdam. Bekend om zijn prachtige architectuur.
Opmerking: Houd er bij aanvang van de tour rekening mee dat dit een stop is voordat u de reis naar Kinderdijk vervolgt. De Erasmusbrug is naast de Willemsbrug de tweede brug over de Nieuwe Maas in het centrum van Rotterdam en de Rotterdamse haven en is vernoemd naar de Nederlandse priester en humanist Erasmus. De brug verbindt de wijk Kop van Zuid met het centrum aan de noordzijde van de rivier.

great experience overall. was expensive but i do recommend this for anyone looking to let someone else handle all of the logistics and wayfinding so you don't have to worry! the site itself was breathtaking and it was great to have someone there to take a couple of photos for us. the meetup was kind of last minute changed then changed back again which was frustrating but ultimately worked out as the guide came to us as originally planned. there was a lot of walking, which we found enjoyable. the guide had interesting stories to share which was fun. items we shared ahead of time were not communicated with the guide which was fine. also, coffee or stops to any cafes were not a part of our experience for some reason so i am glad we grabbed coffee beforehand.

Our tour guide Mo is the greatest tour guide!! He gave us a lot of valuable information with great patience with my kids at our own timing. Smaranda was an excellent guide , tour was very nice but we were disappointed in the fact that we booked a private tour and another couple from a cruise ship was joined with our “private tour” due to tour guide shortage! Also since they had to be back on ship by 2:30 we felt pressured to get back on time. It wasn’t a leisurely tour we expected paying for “private”! We hope our next tour with Viator next week which is also private in Scotland June 9 will not disappoint. We booked 5 viator tours on this 16 day adventure and have always trusted your company. We would have liked more that a 5 minute prior notice if tour is changed so we can decide to cancel or not.

You booked expecting an exclusive experience, and I can appreciate why being informed shortly before departure that another couple would be joining felt frustrating. On that particular day, we faced an unexpected guide shortage and were left with the difficult choice of either canceling tours or combining a small number of guests. We chose the latter so that everyone could still enjoy their visit to Kinderdijk. That said, I agree that the communication should have happened earlier and given you more time to decide whether the revised arrangement still suited your expectations. As a company, we have recently reviewed how we operate our small-group experiences. Rather than substantially increasing prices or reducing the quality and inclusions that our guests enjoy, some tours may occasionally be operated as very small-group experiences with a limited number of guests. Going forward, this will be communicated clearly in our tour descriptions and booking information so guests know exactly what to expect before booking. I am sorry that the timing constraints of the other guests made the tour feel less relaxed than you had hoped. That is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. Incredibly beautiful setting. Best way to start the learning process of how the Dutch manage to live 2 meters below sea level from the beginning with the windmills to the present.
