Ontdek samen met ons de schoonheid van landelijk Bali! Geniet van onze Private Ubud Cultural Downhill Cycling Tour, all inclusive. en kijk uit op het kratermeer van de actieve vulkaan Mount Batur. We omschrijven het graag als niet alleen een avontuur maar een cultuur, traditie, natuur en het ervaren van het typisch Balinese dagelijks leven en we fietsen genietend van het prachtige landelijke landschap, bos, rijstvelden, natuur. We rijden voornamelijk langs kleine dorpsweggetjes en bijna volledig bergafwaarts. U zult genieten van het prachtige Balinese platteland zoals het hoort zonder het gedoe van andere toeristen. Ons doel is u een Bali te laten zien waar andere toeristen alleen maar van dromen : onaangetast door het toerisme. We stoppen bij verschillende bezienswaardigheden tijdens de route, waaronder een groot dorp en een traditioneel Balinees huis. We stoppen bij weelderige rijstvelden en geven je volop fotomogelijkheden, vooral tijdens onze korte wandeling door een rijstveld waarin we, als we geluk hebben, boeren rijst zien oogsten.

Balinese plantage die je kunt zien tijdens een bezoek aan een Balinese plantage om meer te leren over het traditionele en hedendaagse gebruik van flora. Je proeft tropisch fruit dat je misschien nog nooit eerder hebt gezien, evenals lokaal geproduceerde dranken. Het belangrijkste is dat we u het proces laten zien van het maken van LUWAK KOFFIE – in de volksmond bekend als ‘poepkoffie’, de duurste koffie ter wereld!
We nemen je mee naar Kintamani om het kratermeer van de actieve vulkaan Mount Batur te bekijken. Onze gasten zeggen vaak dat het het mooiste uitzicht van Bali is!
dit is ons startpunt, we zijn klaar om te gaan fietsen. Voordat we beginnen, kies je een fiets en probeer je deze comfortabel te maken tijdens het fietsen. Daarna zal onze gids uitleg geven over fietsen en enkele regels die tijdens de tocht moeten worden nageleefd
We reizen voornamelijk langs kleine dorpsweggetjes en vrijwel geheel bergafwaarts. Je zult genieten van het prachtige Balinese platteland zoals je ervan zou moeten genieten, zonder het gedoe van andere toeristen. Ons doel is om u een Bali te laten zien waar andere toeristen alleen maar van dromen: onaangetast door het toerisme. We stoppen onderweg bij verschillende bezienswaardigheden, waaronder een grote tempel en een traditioneel Balinees huis. We stoppen bij weelderige rijstvelden en geven je volop fotomomenten, vooral tijdens onze korte wandeling door een rijstveld, waar we, als we geluk hebben, boeren rijst zien oogsten.
Lunch, Balinees eten. En mineraalwater. We bieden ook voor degenen onder u die veganistisch, vegetarisch of vleesliefhebbers zijn. dessert IJs of Balinees fruit.

We booked this experience based on a recommendation from a friend who told us it was one of their favorite days in Bali, and the tour completely delivered! From start to finish, the Amara Bali Family Team was very well-organized, and every single stop was thoughtful and well-planned. Our guide, Wayan, was fantastic: knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming. Thanks to him, we learned so much about true Balinese culture, spanning everything from schooling and religion to traditional ceremonies and everyday family life. During our bike ride, we were even able to stop by a local temple, a school, and an authentic family home. The highlight of the trip was how truly local it felt. We traveled along quiet, small village roads surrounded by stunning rural landscapes, allowing us to enjoy the scenery exactly as it should be, without the hassle of other tourists. To top it all off, both breakfast and lunch were absolutely delicious! If you want to experience a side of Bali that is genuinely untouched by tourism and something most travelers only dream of seeing, we cannot recommend this team enough!

Our taxi picked us up and took us for breakfast at a local warung. This was extremely tasty. Firstly we were driven to a coffee plantation where we were given various samples of coffee and tea including the famous Luwak coffee. We were then taken to Mount Batur where Kadek (our guide) gave information on the area. We then picked the bikes up for the start of our ride. Be aware that this ride is extremely easy. It is all downhill on easy mainly traffic free roads. We stopped at a temple and also a local village house. Both were extremely interesting. We then arrived back at the local warung for a good lunch. All in all we really enjoyed the ride with a good guide. Highly recommend it.

My family and I did a mountain bike tour in ubud with Agus (guide) and Putu (driver). It was the highlight of our Bali vacation. Agus was funny, curious and could converse with us in good English. The information he gave us during the tour was fun and the ride down in mountain bike was great. If you have one thing to do in Bali to see temple, rice fields, coffee plantation and the country, do this. The breakfast and lunch that was served in a family restaurant was also very good.

We are a family of 5. This is our first experience doing a cycling tour and we really enjoyed this experience and learned a lot about Balinese culture. The cycling route is very easy because downhill the guide is very patient and not in a hurry. ended at a restaurant in Ubud treated with Balinese food. Thanks a lot for the great organization.

This is a great tour that lets you see the best part of Bali - the part with no tourists. Even though it was raining for most of this tour, Kadek our guide never lost his positivity, kept our safety his top priority and was supported by a team who were always on hand to assist with traffic. Although the ride is long at 1 1/2-2hours, it is almost entirely down hill and takes you through some of the most picturesque settings that make you feel like you’re the first to see it. It’s the 2nd time I’ve done a tour like this and would happily do it again.

This easy downhill riding tour with our guide Ikarak and team was amazing! The tour was so well planned and organised, even the rain was not an issue! Lovely people, interesting and informative guide and lovely food and coffe to top it up! The experience of riding down the backstreets of Ubud and surrounding countryside was like a dream that one doesn’t want to wake up from. Our kids found this also easy (10 & 13) - the roads are downhill so that it’s not really a workout, more like drifting while sitting down. Very grateful, highly recommend it.
