Dujiangyan en Mount Qingcheng vormden de inspiratie voor het Dream Works-team om de Panda Village in Kungfu Panda 3 te creëren. 07:15 uur, uw privégids en chauffeur zullen u ontmoeten in de lobby van uw hotel, 1,5 uur rijden naar de werelderfgoedlocatie-Mt.Qingcheng. Vertrek vroeg om de file te vermijden en te genieten van de rust. Als u liever laat wilt vertrekken, wordt u vriendelijk verzocht dit tijdens het reserveren aan te geven. Neem bij aankomst de golfkar naar de ingang. Zodra je de bergpoort binnenstapt, zie je de schilderachtige architectuur in taoïstische stijl die Dream Works inspireerde om het idyllische Panda Village te creëren in hun film, Kungfu Panda 3. In deze rustige omgeving begint je wandeling van een half uur bergopwaarts naar het Moon City Lake, waar de kabelbaan je optilt om de belangrijkste taoïstische tempel te verkennen. Vervolg dan je wandeling naar de bergtop waar het Laojun Pavilion zich bevindt. Als het weer het toelaat, kun je de stad Dujiangyan en daarbuiten zien. Als je eenmaal hebt genoten van alles wat de berg te bieden heeft, ga je aan boord van de kabelbaan naar beneden vanaf Shangqing Palace voor de wandeling van 30 minuten om de berg Qingcheng te verlaten.
Bezoek na een lekkere lunch het Dujiangyan Irrigation Project. Je gids zal je informeren over dit oude technische wonder - hoe het werkt en hoe het de lokale bevolking ten goede is gekomen sinds de Qin-dynastie (220 voor Christus). Ga vanuit het Qinyan-paviljoen verder naar de Erwang-tempel (ook bekend als de Two Kings-tempel) die werd gebouwd in de Qin-dynastie om de ontwerpers van het irrigatiesysteem, Li Bing en zijn zoon, te herdenken. Daarna steek je de Anlan Suspension Bridge over naar het grootste deel van het Dujiangyan-irrigatiesysteem: Fish Mouth Weir en Bottle-Neck Channel, je zult een beter begrip krijgen van hoe dosis Dujiangyan Irrigation System werkt. Verlaat later het irrigatiesysteem via Lidui Park en ga door een rustige, elegante bonsaituin. Stap het park uit, de chauffeur haalt je op en keert rond 17.00 uur terug naar je hotel in Chengdu.

Enjoyable tour to the Duyjangyan irrigation system and Mount QingCheng. The irrigation system was really interesting, particularly with how it was completed so long ago, some great pictures with the mountains in the background as well. Mount QingCheng was also a really interesting look into the birthplace of Taoism in China. There was lots of outdoor walking in some beautiful scenery as well. Guide Lucy was friendly and very knowledgeable, great for a first timer to China
Both Mount Qinsheng and the Dujiangyan irrigation system are beautiful places teeming with history of taoism and chinese engineering, respectively. I highly recommend everyone visits those spots when in Chengdu. My guide, Amber, was very helpful and friendly. Her informative explanations about the history and meaning of visited places were crucial for satisfying my interest. I would highly recommend this experience.

Lucy gave me an excellent experience to mount Qingcheng. She's very friendly, taught me a lot about Taoism, Chinese culture and we talked considerably about our own personal lives during that whole time. I loved the whole experience. She definitely knows Chinese history since I've questioned her about millions of things, to which she replied masterfully. The rain ruined our entrance to the Irrigation System, so mind of the weather on the day that you book.
I had a private tour with my tour guide Amber. I was picked up right on time and she gave me a lot of back ground information on the hour drive to the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Amber knew all about the engineering behind this 2000 year old marvel and really made me appreciate the brilliant design. We were then off to Mount Qingcheng for a two hour walk up stairs to Shangqing palace. Make sure you have comfortable shoes and are ready for a lot of stairs (my Apple watch recorded 42 flights worth!). Amanda even helped me find my Taoist protector. Great trip, highly recommend!
