In de loop van de dag rijden we door het verleidelijke, subliem mooie en grootste graafschap van Engeland, Yorkshire. In feite noemen velen het simpelweg Gods County. We zullen de buitengewone verscheidenheid aan landschappen zien van de zeer vlakke en landelijke Vale of Yorkshire tot het steile, ruige en moeiteloos prachtige Yorkshire Dales National Park. Onderweg stappen we uit en verkennen we verschillende locaties, zodat je echt kunt omarmen en ervaren wat een prachtige plek dit is en nooit gewoon te veel tijd in het voertuig doorbrengt. Leuke verrassingen en schapenwaarnemingen zijn altijd inbegrepen! Als uw reis naar het Verenigd Koninkrijk bezoeken aan de wereldklasse steden Londen en Edinburgh omvat, dan moet u Yorkshire opnemen als het perfecte tegenpunt om te laten zien wat voor buitengewone verscheidenheid dit prachtige land te bieden heeft.
Na het verlaten van York komen we even later aan in de Yorkshire Dales waar de meerderheid van All Creatures Great and Small wordt gefilmd en we zullen meteen beginnen met het zien van enkele van de locaties die nu zo beroemd zijn gemaakt door de All Creatures Great and Small Show.
We zullen meestal aankomen in Grassington rond lunchtijd als de tour begint in York. Grassington is een van de belangrijkste filmlocaties van de show en het is mogelijk om te lunchen in dit charmante stadje. Als u wilt, zullen we ook een wandeltocht in de stad leiden om u alle belangrijke plaatsen te laten zien die verband houden met het filmen van Alle wezens. Als u al in Grassington verblijft, structureren we de tour een beetje anders om u maximale waarde uit de dag te geven.
Na de lunch verkennen we enkele van de mooiste delen van de Dales en vinden we andere zeer beroemde locaties zoals The Aldersons boerderij onder anderen.
Na het verkennen van het allerbeste van de Yorkshire Dales nemen we een interessante route terug naar York als je in York bent gevestigd, we brengen je 's ochtends terug naar de accommodatie waar we je hebben opgehaald. Sommige gasten worden teruggezet in Grassington.

Worth cost! It was the highlight of our trip to England. Our Guide Richard was awesome! Pleasure spending the day with him! Anyone planning on visiting England should not miss seeing the Yorkshire Dales! We are big fans of All Creatures Great and Small and loved seeing the locations the show is filmed at. Beautiful countryside! We ate lunch together at a quiant pub and had a delicious meal. This tour is not to be missed!
Andrew's "All Creatures Great and Small" excursion stood out as a top memory for our family during our two-week UK adventure. Beyond providing a secure and pleasant journey to the filming sites, he was engaging, friendly, kind, and humorous throughout. I highly recommend Expedition Yorkshire – you won't be disappointed! We had a wonderful full-day tour of the Yorkshire Dales with Richard. He picked us up where were staying in Grassington and took us to all the All Creatures filming sites outside of the town. At first, we had thought of driving to those places ourselves, but we decided that the stress of driving on those very narrow roads was not worth it! Many Dales roads are barely wide enough for two cars wedged in between the dry stone walls on each side. This was especially challenging since we are from the US and used to driving on the right side of the road. Having Richard do the driving allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. He was a personable, knowledgeable guide, and he knew just where to take us for scenery and experiences as well as the All Creatures sites. We went to Malham Cove for a walk and stopped at the Wensleydale creamery, where we tasted all their wonderful cheeses. The day with Richard was a high point of our visit to northern England.

My husband and I traveled from Alabama to Europe and wanted to include a trip to the Dales. After spending an unusually warm, July day with Richard and a delightful high school intern, we fell in love with him and Expedition Yorkshire! All Creatures Great and Small iconic spots were visited, we hiked Malham Cove and stopped for lunch at The Devonshire and later a drink at The Green Dragon Inn. We were captivated by his knowledge of the area and by all the beauty surrounding us! Richard packed so much into our day, but our favorite part was getting to know him and having him guide us around the Dales! We will forever rave about this being the most beloved part of our trip. Richard was our guide and he was fantastic. Our family wanted to see particular spots and also hike in the Dales. Richard accommodated our requests with patience and expertise. We would give him 6 stars rather than 5 if possible.
