We felt like part of the community. They welcomed us with joy and were so happy to show us how they lived and did things. The community then gathered and dressed us in their traditional costumes and we danced around a fire. They took video and pictures for us. It was a fun and wonderful experience.

Meeting the Akha people and cooking with them was GREAT! Lots of interaction with the tribe. Participated in dancing some ritual dances. Truly felt like part of the village. Everyone was open and friendly.
