Akerselva River Kayak / Packraft Tour: Stedelijk Avontuur in Oslo

Bekijk Oslo vanuit een uniek perspectief terwijl je over de prachtige rivier de Akerselva kajakt. Misschien ontdek je ook een nieuwe kant van jezelf: je wilde kant! Dus doe mee en omhels je innerlijke "Geit" terwijl je door het centrum van Oslo kajakt, en de prachtige Oslo Fjord op. *Als uw kind jonger dan 10 jaar is, raden wij u aan onze “Akerselva Packraft Tour” te boeken, waaraan zij kunnen deelnemen. Onze kajaktocht begint in het centrum van Oslo in het Nedre Foss Gård Park, gelegen naast de beroemde Mathallen (Food hall). Vanaf hier peddelen we door Grunerløkka, waar je een ongelooflijke mix van natuur en stadsleven zult ervaren - iets waar Oslo beroemd om is! We vervolgen ons stedelijke kajakavontuur en komen aan in Grønland - het culturele hart van Oslo! Vanaf hier peddelen we de Oslo Fjord op – maar eerst door een 500 meter lange tunnel die onder het hart van de stad Oslo doorstroomt! Om de reis te beëindigen peddelen we de Oslofjord in, langs het nieuwe Munch Museum en eindigen we naast het Oslo Opera House - een iconisch herkenningspunt in Oslo!

We beginnen de reis aan de rivier de Akerselva in het centrum van Oslo
We peddelen door het centrum van Oslo
De Akerselva slingert zich een weg door Grunerlokka, het culturele centrum van Osló
We peddelen de tunnel uit en bevinden ons in Bjørvika, de centrale waterkant van Oslo
We peddelen nu over het Akerselva-kanaal langs het nieuwe Munchmuseum
Nu is het tijd om de prachtige Oslofjord op te peddelen, waar we het centrum van Oslo vanaf het water kunnen zien
We ronden de tour af door naar het spectaculaire operagebouw van Oslo te peddelen, dat het beste te zien is vanaf de zitplaats van een kajak. Hierna is het tijd om terug te peddelen naar de monding van de rivier de Akerselva, waar het busje en de aanhanger geparkeerd staan. We hopen dat je een geweldige kajaktocht met ons hebt gehad!

A nice relaxing time. It was pleasant, and very nice to be on the cool water while it was an unusual heatwave. The guides are lovely people. The actual kayak experience is meh. The water is stinky, full of high rocks and the group is often clumped together so you spend a lot of time trying not to bump into each other.

The river always changes depending on the time of year whether it is low or high water, cold or hot but all the same people 99% of the time love the tour and finish with a big smile as it is one of the more unique ways to see Oslo and a perspective you only get from the water. I made a mistake with my booking and Mad Goats were kind enough to accommodate me on a different tour. Never having kayaked before I was nervous but the guide Raquel was clear with her instructions and very patient. It was very safe and a lot of fun.

We had a great time experiencing Oslo this way by kayaking down the Akerselva, through a (lighted) tunnel, and into the Oslofjord right by the Munch Museum and Opera House. Our guide was fantastic--he took photos of us, gave us helpful tips on navigating the journey, and was fun to talk with. So glad we did this!

Such an awesome place to park the van and hangout. I am a kayaker from the uk traveling Norway and this was the perfect place to hangout/go kayaking and wellness. The saunas are awesome, great view of the river. I’d recommend this spot to anyone.
