Ontvangst om 16.00 uur in Mareuil-sur-Ay in een typisch champagnehuis midden in de champagnewijngaarden (Le Clos Corbier). Tijdens het bezoek aan de kelders die in de jaren 1850 zijn gegraven, begint u met de ontdekking van een traditionele pers en leert u alles over de geheimen van het champagnebereidingsproces. Neem plaats en geniet van uw proefles met een champagnequiz en train vervolgens uw neus om de verschillende aroma's en smaken te identificeren die in champagne te vinden zijn door middel van een olfactorische workshop. Wees competitief terwijl je blindelings 3 verschillende champagnes uit de familie identificeert, waaronder één Grand Cru Vintage. U zult genieten van enkele lokale zoete lekkernijen en hapjes in combinatie met uw champagnes! (Het kan worden aangepast aan allergieën of specifieke diëten) Je champagne-ervaring eindigt rond 17.30 uur.

The grounds and wine shop were charming. Our guide was very well versed; helpful, and also funny. She made it interesting through a small quiz qt the end as well as a blind tasting in which we coukd identify the varieties of champagne.

We went there on Sunday 17 July as a couple for a winery visit and I was impressed by the quality of the explanations on the steps of champagne production given by Emma, a young expert. She knew how to switch from French to English as if it were her mother tongue and her information was very clear and exciting. We could even ask questions. It was followed in a small group of 8 a blind tasting of several delicious champagnes of their production, in a cozy room, around a beautiful table, accompanied by *gougères* house, I still have water in my mouth. A fun and interesting quiz to recognize Chardonnay, Pinot Noir or Meunier, as well as the different flavors among 8 or 10 different flavors. It was the best experience of our stay. Next time... we'll come to test their map and test their guest rooms. Stephanie and Alain

Fantastic tour and tasting in a lovely setting. Alvaro was a wonderful guide, both for educating us on the region and every step of champagne making, as well as a detailed introduction to distinguishing the aromas and other characteristics of the champagnes we tasted. Highly recommend.
