We had an amazing day in Sintra with Pedro! Would highly recommend this tour! It started months before when Daniel sent us an extensive video on the sites so we could customize our trip. The communication was perfect. They then bought the tickets for us so the timing would be perfect. We traveled with my husband and 3 children aged 23,20 and 18. pesto was great with so much knowledge and fun facts. We never would have been able to see and do what we did without Pedro! He was a gem and I highly recommend him And this tour to everyone! He also knew all the great photo shows spots and took lots of family photos for us! Now we already have our Christmas card photo 😀It’s a must do tour! It’s a splurge, but totally worth it!!!

I am writing to share my wonderful experience with Pedro. He was incredibly warm, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout our time together. He took us to some of the most beautiful places we have ever been, and his insightful commentary truly made each location come to life. Pedro went above and beyond by capturing perfect photos of us in stunning locations. His courtesy toward everyone we encountered also made navigating crowds seamless. Additionally, the restaurant he recommended was a highlight; while it looked unassuming from the outside, the service was wonderful and the food was fabulous. By the end of the trip, I felt as though I was leaving a longtime friend, and I was genuinely sad to say goodbye. He even gave me a thoughtful gift that I will cherish. We recently had a full-day private Tuk Tuk tour of Sintra with Daniel of Yes, You Deserve and it was Fantastic! Planning our tour was a bit complicated since we were staying in Cascais and also had a ½ day walking tour of Sintra scheduled for the day before our tour with Daniel. He spent time with us to build a full-day itinerary that avoided duplication with our previous tour as well as adding points of interest outside of Sintra that were great. Our itinerary worked out perfectly. You couldn’t ask for a better guide than Daniel! He was very friendly, knowledgeable of the city’s architecture, culture and history and adjusted on the fly to be sure we used our time well and had the best experience possible. Our tour included lunch with Daniel at a truly authentic Portuguese family restaurant which was very fun and the food was delicious. We felt we made a new friend and, at the same time, had a great tour. We have had many private tours during our vacations over the years and this was one of the absolute best!!

I have never booked a private tour but knew it would make our trip to Sintra much more memorable. The day far exceeded everyone’s expectations. It was a cool, rainy morning when we met Victor but he was so warm and inviting the weather didn’t matter. Even a rainy first half of the tour was magical. We chose to visit Quinta da Regaleira, and the coastline with him and he was so knowledgable about anything we asked. The traditional Portuguese restaurant he chose for us was one of the best meals of our entire holiday. He truly seemed to understand what we wanted out of the day and went above and beyond to make it the best experience possible. It is one of the favorite memories of our trip. Everyone says Sintra is in the details, the feelings, and Victor showed us how to really get to know it. Thank you, Victor, it was an unforgettable day.

The entire trip was incredible from start to end. It was incredibly easy to book and the communication was always quick and informative. Pedro was our tour guide and he was incredible. He had a lot of information on everything related to Sintra, the monuments, and the history of the places we were visiting. The food, views, and atmosphere made this a perfect experience!

Is it possible to rate Daniel Ponce and spending the day with him a 10 out of 5??? After ALL his amazing reviews I looked no further. His energy, LOVE of his job and the land, and fun fact of every sight, history and even trees(!!) was infectious. Sintra FAR exceeded our expectations. What an incredible place— so much to see. The ONLY way to get it all in is with Daniel. We will definitely come back for round 2 and in the meantime, will spread the word about Daniel and company back in the states. Best day ever.

Daniel was so great to work with. We wanted to cover only places in Sintra, without any side trip to the beach, and that was fine. So we got in three monuments. He reassured me that the order he planned (which was different from what we would have done on our own) was the right way to do it. We had been reluctant to use a guide, but we are so glad we changed our mind, and at the almost last minute. We saw things we would have never noticed (but he pointed out). We saw more places than we could have seen on our own. And this was all with his wonderful sense of humor and lightness. Our authentic Portugese lunch was great (even accommodating a vegetarian), and he took the proper time at each stop - Quinta da Regalaria, Monseratte Palace, and Pena Palace. He took us to the best pastry shop for Travesserios. And he even followed up with us after the trip about a special event he knew we were going to. I would highly recommend using Daniel and his company.

My daughter and I chose the full‑day tuk tuk tour with Daniel, and honestly, it became one of the highlights of our entire trip. We took a Bolt to the meeting point café in Sintra and met Daniel right on time — and from that moment, the day just flowed in the best possible way. We took the tour in January and although winter it had no impact on our day - just less people. What stood out immediately was how easy it was to be around Daniel. He didn’t feel like a guide ticking off stops; he felt like someone who genuinely wanted to share the places he loves. He told us stories, history, little details you’d never find in a book, and he did it all so naturally that we found ourselves learning without even realising it. We wandered through Quinta da Regaleira, walked down the Initiation Well, explored hidden corners, and soaked in views that didn’t feel real. Later in the day, standing at Boca do Inferno as the sun started to set was one of those moments where you just stop and take it all in — the colours, the sound of the waves, the feeling of being somewhere truly special. Our tour ended in Cascais. We strolled and had dinner. It was the perfect, gentle ending to a full and beautiful day. After dinner we caught a Bolt back to Lisbon, tired in the best way. This wasn’t just a tour for us. It was a day filled with connection, laughter, learning, and moments we’ll talk about for years. If you’re thinking about booking with Daniel, do it. He made our time unforgettable.

This tour was the highlight of our entire trip to Portugal. We chose the all-inclusive experience and are so glad we did. Daniel and his team made everything seamless—coordinating our pickup, tickets, meals, and transportation throughout the day, and answering every question we had. A private car picked us up from our hotel and dropped us at a café for breakfast before the tour began. Pedro arrived in his tuk-tuk and gave us an incredible, in-depth tour of the area. He acted as driver, guide, translator, and even photographer. He went out of his way to capture amazing photos of us at the best viewpoints and major sites. His knowledge of the history and local stories went far beyond anything you’d get from a guidebook or museum plaque. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in Colares before continuing on. One of the unexpected highlights was winding through the peaceful forest and then cruising along the coast at sunset on our way to Cascais. At the end of the tour, Pedro recommended a wonderful spot for dinner, and afterward our driver picked us up and brought us straight back to our hotel. It was a long, unforgettable day—full of great memories, stunning views, and a deeper appreciation for Portugal and its history. Highly recommended.
