Gumbalimba Park bevindt zich in West Bay, Roatan, Baai-eilanden, Honduras. Dit park aan het strand biedt niet alleen de wateractiviteiten en vrijetijdsbesteding van het strand en de oceaan, maar ook diverse attracties in meer dan 20 mooie hectares.
Uw tweetalige gids (Engels en Spaans) zal hun kennis van dit prachtige eiland delen. Ontspan op het beste strand van het eiland met wit zand en kristalhelder water. Proef de smaken lokale gerechten en drankjes en sluit je aan bij de lokale bevolking in hun leuke en toch ontspannen feesten.
Het leguanenpark begon met Mr Sherman-hand die een handvol groene leguanen meerdere keren per dag voedde. Van ongeveer 1980 tot 1994 kwamen alle gemaakte kosten rechtstreeks uit de eigen zak. In 1994 bracht een lokale cameraman een bezoek aan het park en adviseerde meneer Sherman om een donatiebox op te zetten om de uitgaven te helpen. Dit park is nu gegroeid in een ongelooflijk dierenasiel dat zorgt voor de eilandfauna; leguanen, apen, schildpadden en zelfs vissen.
De Roatan Butterfly Garden is deze serene ontsnapping. Vol met dieren in het wild, de Roatan Butterfly Garden is de thuisbasis van boa constrictors, papegaaien, weelderige tropische planten en, natuurlijk, de prachtige vlinder. Laat de tamme herten je hand likken, voed enkele toekans en laat je gids je rondleiden op het terrein, want je zult hier als geen ander een ervaring opdoen.

Elk moment - je hebt eenmaal de controle op het eiland Roatan. U vertelt ons wanneer u klaar bent en wij zullen er zijn om u op te halen. De meeste van onze klanten zijn cruiseschipreizigers en we passen ons schema aan op basis van de aankomsttijd van het schip op het eiland, wat ons personeel zeer goed kent. We verlaten de cruiseterminal nooit zonder onze gasten, tenzij we een bevestiging hebben van de annulering van de tour. Wees daarom niet gestrest bij het verlaten van het schip. Hoe lang het ook duurt om van boord te gaan, we zullen daar op je wachten met onze Roatan Adventure Tour-borden in onze handen.

Orie was amazing! I’m so glad I booked this tour! He customize the trip exactly what we were looking for, and he was so knowledgeable about the island and its history! Orie is the best!
I like that it qas customizable and private and intimate. The driver was very accommodating ans knowledgeable.
Best experience I’ve had traveling. Joel was great local. He translated and talked to the locals in their native language and the other locals in Spanish. Saved more money then what the taxi service cost by getting his price and not ripped of by knowing we’re tourists. Just tell him what you wanna do and he will get you there. Ask for the local experience. We went on a boat tour with another local and he road with us. Definitely recommend. Got to experience all of the island in 8 hours.
Our guide- Dolfus was extremely pleasing and customized our experience to our needs and the time we had available. The communication through the App was very efficient for us to be able to coordinate everything for our day visit in Roatan. Joel at Best of Roatan Island Tour is awesome. He gave us the best excursion we have ever had on any island. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience. Meet us properly after our arrival. We chose to take a private boat ride touring the mangrove and visited a marine rescue. Took a nice tour of the island in an extremely clean van. We visited sloths and monkeys. Went to both rum and chocolate factories. Had an amazing time as it exceeded all of our expectations.
Wonderful experience in Roatan! Joel is an excellent guide, friendly, very well informed, charismatic. We when to the Mangrove tour with him and we enjoyed this beautiful place, the tarpons, the turtles, the ocean!
Be prepared for surprises. Our original driver did not show up. So we were an hour late , things started. Even though our substitute driver was very nice and knew her way around, she handed the tour three hours early.
Experience was ok- nothing special- we went t where we wanted to but when it was time to eat lunch he took us to a spot close to the cruise ship where he got free food- food was gross and the service wasn’t good- I never got my food after waiting for 50 min while the rest of my family all got their meals- long story but I would still recommend the tour just pick out your own place to eat before you get here so you can pick something good- tour says 9 hours and he took us back after 5 1/2 hours
I booked this as an alternative to some of the cruise excursions. I wanted to flexibility to do activities around the island but leave when my kids had enough. Joel was our driver/guide and he was great. Super friendly, native to the area and knowledgeable about the island. I think he sold my kids on moving to Roaton when they heard from him how the school schedule works (7-12,12-4 or 4-8 families choose the time!). We went to AJs monkey and sloth experience. They were busy and we had to wait about 30 mins but was so worth it if you have animal lovers in your family. My kids could have stayed there all day. We then went to the iguana park which was very cool and I never knew you could interact with them the way we did. We stopped at the chocolate factory. It’s really just sampling some chocolates so not a big deal if you miss it. It was hot and my kids were done at that point but we had a great and memorable day and were happy to have Joel as our guide!
We were looking forward to experiencing the island. Our tour guide vehicle was older missing a door handle and not great ac. We may not have specific enough but got the feeling that our driver only wanted to tour certain areas. It was fine but probably go a different route next time
Hi good night were so sorry about the door handle that was broke days before your tour and we have to wait for it to come from the states we will find out with the driver what happen about the tour that day
