9-daagse safari in de majestueuze parken van Tanzania

The campground is all paved. They have activities 6 days a week. They have food trucks come in once or twice a week. Staff is friendly, grounds are kept clean and bath house. laundry is kept clean. We stayed a month in 2025 (Feb) and 2 months (Feb/Mar) in 2026. Weather was awesome. It is a friendly dog campground. The pool is always clean, but its not for swimming, its more of a float/stand around and visit. The deepest end is 4 feet. This campground has NO playground for kids. It does have a pickleball court, and a fenced in dog area. There are dog garbage bins around the campground. There is Fulton, Rockport, Aransas Pass, and Port Aransas are all within 12 miles from each other. You take the fairy over to the Island and the beach is awesome, They have port a potties, changing areas along the beach. Its the hard sand, you can drive on it. There is enough things to do and see for a month. I feel they could make a nice paved bike trail from Fulton to Port Aransas for the ones who like to ride bikes. They do have 2 small walking/bike trails but the one has a lot of walkers, its stressful when you are riding and have to stop or pull over for the walkers. The other one is just a big loop around in a circle. Fulton has a oyster fest and Rockport has a flea market/bizarre thing on Saturdays, I think once a month. Corpus Christi is about 30 minutes away from the campground. This is my favorite campground so far. Everyone working or staying there was friendly, the area is clean, the clubhouse is clean. There's a few full timers that live in the park. Some sites are close to each other, but most you have a bit of room between trailers. They are under new management now, so I can only tell you what it was like while I was there. Feb/Mar 2026

Complete and great safaris with the guide Kasper, very serious who knows perfectly the parks and allowed us to see notably many lions, leopard, cheetahs, rhinoceros,.... Without forgetting the cook Isanga who cooked us every day delicious Tanzanian dishes with fresh produce while making the markets Claire and Gilbert

The trip began with a long-held dream—the desire to do a real African safari. When the opportunity for this 9-day safari came, I packed my bags and went out without any hesitation. On the first day, starting from Arusha, we went to Tarangire. The area is huge, and the wildlife is incredible. One moment still floats in the eye—a large herd of elephants stood in the middle of the road, and we waited patiently so as not to break the laws of nature. And it was even more incredible than I could have imagined. The local guide said that such scenes are not seen very often, and we were lucky. Then Lake Manyara, where I saw lions and thousands of wildebeest and zebra migrating through the vast expanse of grassland, and in the evening the roar of the lions was heard right next to the camp—a stirring experience! Finally, as soon as I entered the Ngorongoro Crater, I was transported to a new world. Every moment of this trip was memorable.
