Bezoek het taoïstische klooster Qingyang Gong (Green Goat Palace), maak een wandeling langs de rivier Funan en door het Huanhuaxi-park, geniet van een speciale theeceremonie in een elegant theehuis en drink een kopje groene thee om het ontspannen leven van de lokale bevolking in People's Park te ervaren. Het is een mooi openbaar park in het westen van de binnenstad, terwijl de stadsmuur voorbij stroomt. In het verleden was het een plek waar mensen borduurwerk maakten. En nu kunnen we de plaatselijke bewoners zien genieten van hun relaxte leven hier, zoals dansen, Taichi spelen, joggen, enz
Het staat bekend als de Daoism-tempel, het is een goede plek om hier meer te leren over het Daoïsme. We kunnen de prachtige schilderijen in de paleizen zien die de verhalen over het Daoïsme laten zien
Een gerenoveerde straat met de oude stijl. Deze straat staat vooral bekend om de verkoop van sieraden. En we zullen hier een eenvoudig maar authentiek lokaal eten hebben.
De beroemdste het lopen straat in Chengdu, het is het oriëntatiepunt van Chengdu. Je kunt de binnenplaatsen in deze straat zien en nu heeft deze straat honderden souvenirwinkels, lokale snackrestaurants, enz.
Het echte park waar je het leven van de lokale bevolking hier kunt ervaren, zoals waterkalligrafie, poker, vierkante dans, open theehuis, etc.
We zullen een pauze nemen in het plaatselijke theehuis in de buurt van Songxianqiao, waar we met de lokale bevolking zullen praten en de Chinese theecultuur zullen ervaren

The Tour Guide is amazing. I forgot her name. But she made my day in Chengdu as if I am in a dream. I appreciate her politness and knowledge and adaptability to my needs. This is what I will try to repeat but it will be not easy as this was also in Chengdu. The whole thing was amazing. The Tour guide was a match for me so we enjoyed every moment.

We engaged a tour guide with the expectation of a comprehensive tour guide service. However, the experience fell short. Instead of gaining insightful knowledge about the location, we found the service to be more of a translation/coordinator assistance. The guide lacked familiarity with the place, unable to share historical context or meaningful details, making the cost unjustifiable. Although the person was nice and helpful, the service didn't align with our needs. We believe this would be better suited for non Mandarin-speaking visitors needing assistance navigating the area, rather than those seeking an enriching tour experience. The price was rather high and ay least a partial refund should be considered. It was a time wasting experience especially when you are on a short holiday.

I had a fantastic morning out with Bruce. I would highly recommend this trip as a great way of seeing Chengdu. I definitely got more out of my visit from doing this tour. Bruce was very knowledgeable and we had a very chilled morning walking around the parks and sipping tea. We stopped off for noodles on the way to the Peoples Park which were very tasty and clearly a popular place with the locals. If your heading to Chengdu book this tour!!

This was a great way to see some of the main sights of Chengdu (Qingyang Gong, Cultural Park, People's Park, Wide and Narrow Alley), try lots of tea, and eat some great snacks (I'm still dreaming about that guo kui we ate). Greenie was our guide and had a level of enthusiasm I didn't think was possible. Definitely recommended :)
I brought friends from Houston, Texas to Chengdu during X'mas, Bruce and his team were recommended by my friend as a outstanding operator so we contact him and the booking procedure went smoothly. When arrived, we were truly impressed by not only his knowledge of this area but also his great understanding of Chinese culture.
