Stel je voor dat je paardrijdt in de Andes-hooglanden en onherbergzame landen, door de spectaculaire Inca-constructie en het prachtige uitzicht op de met sneeuw bedekte Veronica-berg. Bekijk de prachtige rode bergen en dieren zoals lama's, alpaca's, condors en wilde paarden die de gebieden omringen. Als je het Inca-land bezoekt, kun je gerust galopperen over de oneindige pampa's (de Qenqo Mayu-vallei). Deze trektocht te paard in Machu Picchu is een reis buiten de gebaande paden, waardoor een uitzonderlijke interactie mogelijk is met de dorpelingen die in de kleine gemeenschappen wonen die de route kruisen. I completed the private horseback riding trek through the high Andes mountains of Peru, camping up there, then riding down through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, down to the beautiful little old Native indigenous town of Ollantaytambo, to celebrate my birthday on January 6. And not to mention the majestic train ride and finally arriving at Machu Picchu! My Guide was Alfredo from Wari Tours. He was an exceptional tour guide! And this was one of the most spectacular and meaningful tours I have done in all my travels around the world. He was very knowledgeable, informative, friendly, honest, fun, caring and detailed. He is of indigenous descent and well connected with his community, so the staff like the cook, the horse Owner, the accompanying lady, all were authentic indigenous, knowledgeable working people.
