4x4 Safari Private Jeep, Full Day, Aanpasbare Santana of Porto Moniz of andere

Without a doubt, this was one of the best experiences of our family holiday in Madeira. We booked a private Jeep Safari and our guide, Tobias, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the island, he tailored the day around what we wanted to see and never made us feel rushed. It felt like exploring Madeira with a local friend. Along the way we explored breathtaking viewpoints, stopped in Ponta do Sol for a stroll and an ice cream and enjoyed the fun off-road tracks that took us to places we'd never have discovered on our own. My daughter also did the zipline with Extreme Adventures, which she absolutely loved! We later visited the natural swimming pools at Porto Moniz and enjoyed walking around them before continuing our adventure. Tobias recommended lunch at Restaurante Seixal Butcher, and we're so glad he did. We enjoyed an authentic espetada with fresh salad, bread and Brisa drinks. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. A stop well worth making. After the heat there, swimming at Seixal Beach was the perfect way to cool off. The black sand beach and crystal-clear water made it one of our favourite moments of the day. At to top it all off a wonderful final pit-stop of Tavern Poncha for a end of day rum drink! Travelling with three daughters aged 10, 18 and 20 means it's rare to find an activity that everyone genuinely enjoys, but this was one of those days. Every one of us came away super happy. If you're visiting Madeira and want to experience the island beyond the usual tourist spots, I couldn't recommend this private Jeep Safari highly enough. Miguel was a great guide. Knowledgeable, patient and a good communicator. We covered so much ground and did not feel rushed at all.

We had excellent communications with the company as they suggested a range of tour options that they could provide for us as well as being very happy to meet any specific requirements we had. Tobias was ready and waiting for us promptly at the pick up and proved to be a very engaging guide. The tour covered key points on the East of the island, and the slightly earlier start suggested by Tobias kept us always ahead of the larger tour parties, which we appreciated. A very knowledgeable and personable guide, we all enjoyed Tobias company and expertise during the day.

Tobias was an excellent driver, really safe and a font of knowledge. We agreed what we were doing on the day as we set off and enjoyed lovely levada walks, great views and lots of other thing. Sadly the weather was far from great whichcurtqiled the off road component bit we still managed a good 20-30 mins which was fun. All in all a good day out😀

Everything was brilliant. Tobias was punctual, knowledgeable, gave us plenty of information about the history and geography of Madeira. Driving skills were excellent. We explored a couple of off-road tracks and got to see deep into the interior of less travelled tracks and trails. Lunch was most excellent and relaxed. There were six of us, 3 couples in our 40s, 50s & 60s - one with compromised mobility but everything was pitched just right. The price between 6 of us made it a really good, affordable and satisfying day out taking us places we would never have experienced if we'd taken a bus, a taxi or driven ourselves. The jeep wasn't too small, plenty of room for all 6 of us. Book it. It's a brilliant day out in Madeira.

Our guide Tobias picked us up from our front door and took us on a wonderful days drive to the east of the island. We were asked if we wanted to choose the itinerary but we left it to Tobias which was a great decision as he took us to interesting sites and places ucj as off roading and farmers markets in small village. Tobias was obliging and accommodating to our every ask. We had an incredible day of site seeing and his knowledge was clearly enlightening. All round fabulous
