onze gids haalt je op bij je hotel in Caïro of Gizeh met ons privévoertuig en brengt je vervolgens naar Koptisch Caïro om de hangende kerk te bezoeken, vervolgens Islamitisch Caïro om het kasteel van Saladin en de Mohamed ali-moskee te bezoeken ga dan terug naar je hotel om de Salah El Din Citadel te bezoeken, die in 1183 AD door Salah El Din werd gebouwd om Caïro te beschermen tegen het gevaar van kruisvaarders. Na dat bezoek Mohamed Ali Albasten Moskee die werd ontworpen door de architect Yousif Boushnaq, een Ottomaanse architectuurman die speciaal uit Istanbul kwam en deze grote moskee bouwde voor Mohamed Ali, de heerser van Egypte (1805-1849) die meer dan 45 jaar regeerde. het is hetzelfde ontwerp maar kleiner zoals de blauwe moskee van Sultan Ahmed dan optionele stop voor lunch?
Ga vervolgens naar het oude Caïro, waar u zult genieten van de hangende kerk uit de 3e eeuw die werd gebouwd van de 2 toren die overblijft van het fort van Babylon, de kerk van Abu Serga, waar u de heilige crypte, de Ben Ezra-synagoge voor joods en terug kunt zien naar hotel.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Cairo. Our guide was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He never rushed us and took the time to explain the history and significance of the mosque, church, and stop along the way. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed sharing his culture with us. As a bonus, he took us to what he called the best shawarma in town, and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for a tour that’s informative, relaxed, and gives you an authentic local experience, I highly recommend this one.

Excellent and informative tour! Our guide Beshoy made sure to adjust the tour for our needs and wants and helped open the wonder of Old Cairo to us. The tour included stops that allowed for shopping and purchasing Egyptian specialties. Highly recommended for a half day event.

The guide sandy is a beautiful and nice lady . She explained history well and was patient. All churches we visited are magnificent! And it would have been better if the shopping section was shorter but still fun to know about oil seasoning clothes and papyrus paper.

Great day with Egytpologist Kareem and driver Shadi. Saw ancient marvels and learned much of Egyptian history. Sampled delicious traditional food, saw how papyrus is made and used, explored exotic scents and oils, bought some lovely saffron tea and zatar from an exotic spice shop. It was a.perdect sunny day .

We had the best time with Kareem and Shadi today. We saw some of the ancient marvels of Cairo and sampled delicious traditional Egytpian food. We saw how papyrus is made and used. Spent a little on natural perfume oils and spices. Everyone here in Egypt smells so good! Shading our driver took us safely around the city, the traffic is quite something to experience. Kareem is our excellent personal egytptologist. We feel so fortunate to have spent the day with both of them.
