This was one of the best things we have ever done while on holidays. Communication was excellent with Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters. They confirmed our flight the day before. We drove ourselves to the hanger but you can get a free pick up. The staff were welcoming and professional. Our pilot was friendly and knowledgeable. We booked the Sunset flight and were spoilt with a perfect clear afternoon, not a cloud in the sky. From the time we took off we felt very safe and relaxed. The scenery flying up to the Remarkables was breath-taking with 360 degree views. We landed on Double cone and we were able to get out and “stand on top of the world” with a complimentary drink in hand. We had plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the view. 10/10 experience. I would recommend you do this if you come to Queenstown. Go with Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters and make memories.
Amazing flight and landing on the Remarkables ranges. Were had a stunning morning and perfect flight with Stephen, great view’s of mountains surrounding Queenstown, loved it
