We were really impressed with this little sunset experience - it was great value. The team at memorable Cambodia communicated with us well booking the tickets and free pick up via email. The tour guide was very amusing - and we also found out a lot about the city of Phnom Penh - and the unlimited drinks and fresh fruit platter were very welcome too. The guide was also happy to take our pictures at sunset which was great too. Highly recommended.

We took a sunset cruise on the Mekong River, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The views of Phnom Penh’s skyline as the sun set were breathtaking. The boat was comfortable, and the service on board was great. The romantic atmosphere was perfect for couples looking to enjoy a quiet evening together.

Although, the boat wasn’t the newest in the fleet or full of amenities, it offered the peace and comfort only found when it’s just you and your spouse or significant other. No crowds or unwanted noises except for the words that you exchange during the transit up and down the waterway. The tour guide did offer some historical notes during the trip.

We had a wonderful experience. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable providing us with a thorough overview of Cambodian history and the importance of the rivers we travelled down. He also provided excellent service, ensuring we had topped up drinks at all time and an excellent fruit platter. At the end of the tour he provided us a fantastic restaurant recommendation. I would recommend this to any person travelling to Phnom Penh.

One of the reasons I chose this particular cruise is because it is run by Cambodian students who studied at the local college of Tourism and I want to support local people as much as possible during our trip to Cambodia. I organised this trip on the Mekong and Tonle Sap river by email from England. My emails were responded to promptly and gave me all the information I requested. We were collected from our hotel on time and taken to Sisowath Quay where my husband and I were welcomed by Chamnab and we boarded the boat. Chamnab made us feel very at ease. He told us about the history of Phnom Penh, the importance of the rivers to the people who live on them, eke out a living from them and bring up their children on them. He answered our many questions and shared his own experiences of his childhood and growing up with his family. The boat was immaculately clean and well kept and the boatman did an excellent job of steering the boat on the busy river. The sunset was breathtaking and the lights of Phnom Penh dazzled. The fresh fruit platter was refreshing and freshly prepared, the wine was great and there was plenty of water and local beers. The 2 hours Private Sunset Cruise is worth every penny. Well done Chamnab and the team at Memorable Cambodia Cruise, you gave us the best start possible to our visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
