I booked the Salkantay Trail at the last minute and unfortunately didn’t have a ticket for Machu Picchu. This meant I had to split from my group and travel separately to get a ticket from the official ticket office. For those two days, Nicolson was my private guide, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me through the process. He hiked with me along the railway tracks, made sure I reached Machu Picchu Pueblo on time, and helped ensure I was able to get a ticket and rejoin my group for the Machu Picchu visit. The following day, we also did a waterfall hike together. Nicolson was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much about the local culture, traditions, food, history, and way of life. He explained everything in detail and was always happy to answer my questions. What impressed me most was how attentive he was throughout the trip. He took care of all my requests and made sure hotel arrangements and transfers were handled smoothly. Everything was very well organized, and I felt supported every step of the way. A big thank you to Nicolson and the team for making what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and memorable experience. Nicholson met us at the hotel and the rest was a memorable (yet demanding, as we have 125 years between my brother and myself) rail trip to km 106 and the 800m altitude gain over 6km to Winaywayna and then on to the false sun gate for a perfect view of Machu Picchu. Down to the bus and back to town and a great dinner with our new friend Nicholson.

We had the most amazing day with our your guide Miguel who took us on the one day Inca trail trek to Machu Picchu. It was spectacular. Miguel was incredibly supportive throughout the trail and took us to some great spots including a fabulous lunch spot high up in the mountains looking down to Machu Picchu. What a view. I would highly recommend this trek and our guide Miguel.

Our experience with Valencia Travel for the 2-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was overall excellent, and truly unforgettable. The booking process was smooth and easy. The team stayed attentive and responsive throughout, although we had a small hiccup with communication when we arrived in Cusco, since we needed to coordinate on a Sunday and their office was closed. It caused a minor delay, but nothing major. The highlight of our entire trip was our guide, Luis. He was absolutely outstanding, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing his culture. He kept a positive attitude throughout, took time to explain everything in detail, and made sure we were comfortable with breaks along the way. He also turned out to be an amazing photographer, capturing incredible photos and videos that we’ll treasure. The hike itself was beautiful and very manageable if you have a moderate level of fitness. Entering through Inti Punku, the Sun Gate, and seeing Machu Picchu for the first time was simply breathtaking, a truly majestic experience. Everything else was very well organized. The meals were delicious, the restaurants selected were great, and the hotel was simple but clean and comfortable. Even on the return journey, everything was seamless, Luis gave us clear instructions, and there was always someone waiting for us at each point. Overall, Valencia Travel delivered a very well-organized trip, but what truly made it exceptional was Luis. I would 100% recommend requesting him as your guide for this experience.

Fantastic experience and well worth the hike to see Machu Picchu from above at the Sun gate. Ronaldo was an excelent guide who shared his knowledge and patiently answered all our questions about life in Peru and the Inkas.

We had a great experience with guide Henry. Besides all the wonderful details he shared with us about where we walked lance he was also a real motivator during the hike (up was very spicy!) During the hike to Machu Picchu but also the day after, he was able to take us great into the history of the Incas, no question from us was too much. After the hike Henry took us to a delicious local restaurant, nice to end the day together. In short, an experience not to be forgotten!

Excellent experience and wonderful service

We did the short Inca Trail in two days, and it was an amazing experience thanks to Carlos! He always adapted to our pace, with great kindness, humor and consideration. During the walk, he shared with passion and clarity the history of the different Inca sites. Also, it was my birthday, and Carlos was especially caring and attentive, which made the day even more magical. The first day we could not see Machu Picchu because of the bad weather, but Carlos managed to get us to the panoramic circuit the next day, which finally allowed us to enjoy the long-awaited view. Thank you very much, Carlos! It was a real pleasure to share this adventure with you! I highly recommend it.

A superb experience! The Short Inca Trail trek was an unforgettable adventure. Everything was very well organized: the meals were excellent and the accommodation in Aguas Calientes was very comfortable. A huge thank you to Carlos, our exceptional guide, who made this experience even more special. He always took the time to go at our pace, to take regular breaks, to let us take all the photos we wanted, and above all, to share his knowledge of the vegetation and the history of the Inca sites all along the way to Machu Picchu. I would definitely do this trek again with this agency and our guide Carlos!

We did the one day hike and the tour of machupicchu the following day, the tour we had was Henry and I genuinely can not praise him enough, very knowledgeable and during the hike made sure everyone was ok and stayed with the people that needed the most help, we had a cusco tour with him the next day and that was extremely good as well, spent the night in the machupicchu village, what an amazing place and had the private tour the next day, what an amazing experience!!
